This was our 2nd time staying here and we stayed in a large spacious room with a pool view again. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The main pool and kids pool areas are really clean and spacious with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. Lunch onsite is good value and served at the bar near the pool. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. We stayed with our 6 month old baby and could use the fridge in our bedroom to store babies bottles. We requested a travel cot in our room which was provided and was perfect for the baby. There is a supermarket and pharmacy within 5 mins walking distance for any necessities you may need. Old Town is also a short walk downhill. The Tourist Train also picks up/drops off outside the hotel and is so handy for getting around.
The only negative for us was the entertainment at the bar (pool side) at night time was excessively loud. This was really annoying every night. The volume on the speakers could be significantly lowered.
Just a note for anyone travelling with a baby or small child, there was no bath in our room (wasnt a negative for us).

Lovely hotel
El hotel es grande pero muy antiguo.
Nos encontramos una cucaracha en el baño al llegar una noche. Otra en el bar de la piscina.
La habitación no estaba muy limpia. Las puertas de los armarios estaban muy sucias
Size of pool area
Decor is a little tired
The staff were amazing and so helpful.
They managed our expectations and they moved us to a better room and they even gave us a bottle of champagne for our honey moon and some chick too. The room was very bright and airy and the bed was very comfortable.
The pool is really big but the sun beds get taken very quickly . They are very vigilant with sun beds reservations and no one is allowed to put their stuff on a sun bed if they are not there. The location is brilliant and just a short walk to old town .
The bar cafe service was a bit slow sometimes but I think I’m just very in patient hahah
the breakfast was very good never used the pool, the room was fine a little smell in bathroom maybe slight drainage problems but maybe the hot conditions were a factor in that
enjoyed the stay , found the staff friendly,especially one of the cleaning ladies and the lady who signed you in at breakfast trying my best to speak a bit portugese to them was quite funny
The fact that the house keeping staff opened the door while in the room without knocking or announcing presence. That’s absurd!
Location and view over pool, staff were also exceptional
Seemed to have a random.drain smell in bathroom every now and then. Pool bar service really slow. Soft drinks were draft and felt overpriced
Very clean.
