The pool, the bar, the rooftop bar, the garden. beautiful hotel!
It would be perfect if it had a spa.
Bedrooms were fantastic and kept so clean by the great staff, pool area was lovely, roof top has some great views
It wad a bit noisy in the mornings, but nothing that would put us off visiting again
The hotel and staff were amazing. The food was decent I'd give it a 6.5/10. Drinks were made to perfection. Rooms were very clean and functional. The view was nothing short of breathtaking.
We told them our TV/Netflix didn't work, they sent someone he didn't fix it, he said he'd come back and he didn't. The location was okay, it was a 20-30 minute walk on tight side walks to get to the main town square.
This hotel exceeded our expectations, we intended to use it mainly as a base but the pool allowed us to spend a few days at the hotel. The hotel interior is beautiful & the sunset bar is stunning - I doubt there's a much better panoramic view of the Sorrento hills or sunset. The pool is large and clean with plenty of beds for guests. The rooms are rustic and clean. It's a pleasant 30 minute walk or a 5 minute bus or Sorrento (the bus stop is a 5 minute walk up the road). The breakfast is pretty basic but does the job. Excellent variety of drinks, pretty expensive but so is everywhere else. I would absolutely stay here again!
I'm really clutching at straws here as this hotel was fantastic, but three 'even better ifs' would be. 1. Addition of a gym/fitness centre. 2. It would be useful if you could order from your phone via the QR menu when around the pool. 3. There was no iron in the room, but there was a steamer (which wasn't great).
Really lovely hotel in a good location!
We had a garden facing room which I couldn’t recommend more! We had views of the sunset every evening from our room, the bed was huge and the aircon was amazing! We also had no noise from outside (I even brought my ear plugs but didn’t have a need for them!) I can imagine if you were pool side facing you would’ve had a different experience as the road although not super busy can be noisy with beeping and car engines etc .
Pool was great and out of a week stay there was only one day where we struggled to get a sun-bed, but on this day we arrived to the pool area super late (after 11am) and it was a Sunday and it seemed like a lot of guests were not doing any trips etc. Every other day it was not an issue and we found a good spot.
Location is good, some really nice restaurants close by, but the walk into “main” sorrento town is about 25 min+ which in the heat is sometimes pretty rough, but easily doable and quite a nice walk. (Taxis are super expensive - a 4 min drive cost us €30 cash)
Rooftop bar was sensational - definitely don’t miss it.
Breakfast was nice and had everything you need.
Lunch and drinks prices in the restaurant and rooftop bar were quite expensive considering portions weren’t huge and you could get cheaper just outside the hotel.
The staff were kind and accommodating.
The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The lack of a bed skirt exposed the box spring, making the room feel unfinished and cheap. Overall, the room wasn’t cozy and felt dated and not thoroughly cleaned.
The bathroom had an overpowering perfume scent that seemed to be masking an underlying musty or moldy odor, which was very off-putting.
To make matters worse, there was an unpleasant sewage-like smell coming from the air conditioning vent. The AC was also locked at 22°C with no way to adjust the temperature, which made for an uncomfortable stay and is a frustrating policy.
Another major disappointment was that the pool closes at 6:00 p.m. One of the best parts of a vacation is spending the day exploring and then unwinding by the pool in the evening. Closing it that early defeats the purpose.
For over $350 per night, we expected a much higher standard of comfort, cleanliness, and amenities. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations. We left very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to others.

Bathroom was very plain. We could hear the bar and chairs moving until late at night from the rooftop bar

The location - we knew before we booked but the pavements are so bumpy and sometimes non existent so you’re reliant on public transport or taxis at 25 euro each way. The hotel should consider a shuttle that you pay for at a cheaper rate. Some more plug points in the room would be useful.
We liked everything. The staff were so helpful. They could not do enough for you and were in hand for anything. Smiling and friendly too which was lovely. The pool and facilities were also top notch. The snack bar was really handy too and lovely food. The hotel is beautiful!

Kettle in the room , a water tap to refill water bottles , better quality chairs on the room outdoor deck , a shuttle bus into Sorrento would be helpful . The walk is 25 minutes .
