Value for Your Money 12/10 !!!
Pros:

We stayed 5 nights at first and liked the hotel so much that we returned and stayed for another 9 nights. For a 3-star boutique hotel, you won't regret! We chose it for the most convenient location, trains and buses taking us everywhere. The staff went the extra mile to meet our needs, with free toothbrushes, razors, shower caps, water bottles and arranging taxi. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were more comfortable than some of the 4-star and 5-star hotels. The shower had a strong and steady flow. We didn't need to use adapters as the room thought of everything for us. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with excellent coffee choices and for the price. The self laundry service was a plus. Front desk can set up WeChat on your phone or you pay them later after they pay for the service first, washer, dryer, dip dry, and iron/boards ready for your journey. Best VALUE for your money and loved Lina, Jamie and all staffs. And you get to meet international travelers from every continent!!! Thank you booking.com for this hotel:)

Good for a low budget, not ideal in location
Pros:

The room was nice and big, so really helpful for all our luggage.
The bed was really comfortable.

I knew that this hotel was only for two days and I took it for the location so I was not expecting much.

Cons:

There is no way to close the curtains in the window and there is a lot of light that comes into the room since 6am.
The hotel seemed to be well connected and near the centre, but in reality it didn't seem real to me. There is only one metro and you have to change each time the line to go anywhere.

Nobody speaks English and they do not do much effort to try. One of them managed to give me a paper with a sentence in English and that was all. For a big, international city as Shanghai, it seems quite bad that nobody at Reception speaks English.

Breakfast was quite awful, there was nearly no choice, the croissants and pain au chocolats were burnt and even the information about the food was not in the right product.

They kept our luggage but there is no storage room, so our bags were next to the reception, opened to eveyone the whole day.

Superb location and good stay overall!
Pros:

We stayed here for our first visit in China with my family so we had two rooms, we appreciate the space and interior. Everything is new and clean. The location is truly excellent.

Cons:

We got two rooms, however, the air con of the other room is malfunctioning throughout the stay. We reported it during the first night but the staff didn't action and only insisted on changing our rooms but we're already checking out and only offered free breakfast.

Convenient location with a mix of modern and local
Pros:

Great location! 3 min walk to the train station. Near shopping areas for mainstream and artsy Chinese brands, cafes and restaurants, with nice places to jog at nearby (near the tree-lined French Concession). Helpful staff too. Thanks!

Nice stay in central shanghai
Pros:

Great location and comfortable room. Staff was very helpful and kind. It was also possible to send parcels to the hotel and easy to pick them up.

Cons:

The bathroom smelled a lot like cigarette smoke and I could also sense it when having the bathroom door closed.

Hotel bem localizado e bom custo-benefício por estar em uma rua turística e central. Fácil de chegar via metrô. Lavanderia de graça mas precisa de um número de celular chines para conseguir utilizar ou um internacional que consiga receber SMS. Quarto com um bom espaço, não é grande mas não é pequeno. Camas confortáveis e uma TV enorme. Águas eram repostas durante o serviço de quarto.

Cons:

Um pouco de barulho por conta de construção perto do hotel. Wifi não funcionava direito com VPN.
