Must stay if driving route 66
Pros:

Classic Route 66 stay, rooms are nice and clean, the lobby is very nice and the secret room was cool. The staff were very accommodating as we had issues with our rental they let us use the phone.

Cons:

Toilet was small but done the job and the breakfast included doesn’t cater to fussy eaters, we went elsewhere

Was ok however I’ve done it and won’t stay again
Pros:

The history is probably worth the visit on its own (once), hotel staff were good.
Bar staff were attentive
Facilities good.

Cons:

We booked two rooms and were given 2 adjoining rooms with only one bathroom so one party had to walk through the others bedroom, not good at all and we certainly did not book this.
The younger restaurant staff were lacking awareness and experience.
Very expensive for what you get.

Cooles Hotel, aber es gibt auch Negatives!
Pros:

Atmosphäre gut, freundlicher Empfang.

Cons:

Sehr kleines Bad, 2 qm. Wifi zumindest in unserem recht großen Zimmer nur in der Nähe der Zimmertür existent. Beim Essen im Hotelrestaurant das Hauptgericht schon serviert, als die Vorspeise noch nicht halb gegessen war. Und noch gefragt, ob man diesen Teller schon mitnehmen solle. So ein Benehmen des Personals passt nicht zum Image des Hotels.

We had a really good time and were pleased.
Pros:

The breakfast was fabulous!! We had the huevos rancheros because you can never go wrong with that, and it was delicious (though my egg was slightly over done).
The hotel was pretty to walk through, the elevator was fun to use, and there were good tables outside to sit at.

Cons:

The bathroom was super small, but that isn't something that can really be changed as obviously this is an old hotel. Maybe a shelf could be installed above the toilet or beside the sink to actually have a place to put a couple of toiletries? But this is such a small thing and our stay was nice.

There are no refrigerators in the room because the room is super small. Again, this was not a huge problem. We had brought some food in a cooler and put some ice in a bag from the ice machine and it was fine. Just know to not expect a fridge.

Empfehlenswert weil legendär
Pros:

Das Zimmer ist lustig eingerichtet. Es hat alles was man braucht. Die Lobby sieht sehr schön aus und auch das versteckte Zimmer ist sensationell.

Cons:

Leider ist das wifi nicht zu gebrauchen im ganzen Hotel. Von Chicago bis hier ist es das schlechteste. Siehe Foto. Leider war auch das Gym ausser Betrieb.

Fun place to stay
Pros:

Quirky experience that everybody should try.

Cons:

The only objectionable thing that occurred was that we wanted to leave a light on in the actual bathroom as a night light because the drapes successfully really darkened the room. But it also left the light on in the bathroom vanity area that was actually located in the sleeping quarters of the room. The light that operated only in the bathroom was a heat lamp and also operated a very loud exhaust fan which was worse disturbance while trying to sleep. Solved the problem by just loosening the light bulbs in the vanity.
