Very friendly and efficient staff at reception. We were able to find a parking space directly outside - such a bonus!
With the outdoor pool currently being refurbished, the hotel offers a free boat transfer to Faro Beach, which we enjoyed.
Perfect location from which to explore Faro old town.
Quick and easy drive to Faro Airport.
There is currently some refurbishment work going on and we needed to change rooms to get away from the noise - but this was handled very professionally by the reception staff.

A perfect landing place after an overnight flight. Great location, views, service and breakfast.
The room was surprisingly basic, it felt quite sparse. Given the price I feel the rooms could use a little extra love.

Shower tray was soft and slippery and mouldy sealant between tile and tray. Hotel bedroom noisy at night for 2 of our 4 nights. Hotel were mystified when reported.
Breakfast with the harbour view and the man playing piano was fantastic. Great central location in the heart of Faro.
We were on first floor street side. With the pavement on the road and constant traffic even at night, there was constant noise. We just couldn't sleep the entire night.
Horrible, and it ruins the entire experience, while otherwise the rooms were great. They should invest in proper soundproof windows.

Everything. The 'luxury suite' we decided to treat ourselves to was so noisy due to construction work and the fact it was located under the kitchen so trolleys were being moved noisily above our heads at 5.30 am. The suite was just one large room with an 'open bathroom' at one end, then the bed and then a stained lounge and a tv at the other. There was not ONE drawer in the whole suite so we had nowhere to store our clothes etc. except for a small wardrobe near the door. The balcony was dirty and had a small table and two cheap chairs. The view was of the dirty bus station and a building site which was very noisy. The promised view of the Rio Formosa was in the distance and I had to ask for the windows to be cleaned to see it. For this we paid an astonishing 430 Euros a night! We asked to be moved and Paula was very helpful but the second 'suite' we were given was shabby and noisy from buses parked nearby, car traffic and drunken louts shouting at all hours and banging hotel doors. We had an average of four or five hours sleep a night. The carpet was dirty and the we had to tape the curtains to the windows as they didn't close properly. The wardrobe had no doors and was old and chipped. There was no iron or ironing board and when I asked for one at reception I was told brusquely that one was available 'subject to availability' and I could only have it for one hour! The advertised roof top swimming pool and bar had been demolished, hence the building site outside our 'luxury suite'. The breakfast was ordinary and the coffee machines were constantly not working. The place is a total disaster and a disgrace.

Sometimes there was a weird smell, not sure if it was coming from the street or from the pipes.

Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid. Kamer met uitzicht op haven niet groot maar comfortabel . Op loopafstand van oude centrum.
