Pros:

Bed comfy and there was a fan which was good

Cons:

We were disappointed the room was not filled up with tea coffee and milk . We were unable to make a cuppa on the Sunday morning.
We mentioned it to reception on checking out and reply was you should have put room to be serviced hanging on the door.
Wouldn't it be better to tell you that when you check in ?

Loud
Pros:

I was hapy with nearly every aspect of my stay, rooms were clean staff were polite.

Cons:

I had a double room and it was two singles pushed together wich makes for an uncomftable sleep with your partner. Also we were to check out on the monday at 11 and work in the room next to us start early, there were power drills growing that realy disturb mine and my partner sleep, this really ruined the whole experience as we stayed in the hotel to get slme peace and a good night sleep that was ruined by the drills and banging next door.

Tired and dirty
Pros:

The Swindon Village Hotel spoilt our little 2 night get away, due to the cleanliness and the condition the hotel is in. The outside is tired, then inside you're met with a dark tired unclean interior that really puts you off from the get go including the un-inviting reception check-in desk.

Check- in: The check-in is self service with a member of staff helping you and others at the same time trying to check in electronically. It's not a supermarket. Can't a receptionist just check people in or just have both in place? If there were more than two sets of visitors trying to check in at once on the screens, it would be quite a long wait.

Walking to the room:The paintwork along the corridor is all chipped. The lift was dirty. Glass doors dirty. You just didn't want to touch anything. Dark and tired.

The room positives: First impression of the room was very good because it was a great size. The beds are huge and very comfy though we didn't sleep under the duvet and would have chosen not to even if it wasn't scorching temperatures in the UK just because the whole experience felt too dirty too.The room also had a really big TV to suit the room size. A sofa. Fan. Coffee machine.

The room negatives: The room lacked sockets.
Decor dark and very tired, tatty giving the illusion of filth due to all the chipped and broken things in the room. Dirty stuff , chairs, ironboard, curtains etc.

There's no attention to detail cleaning though a VERY basic ok. We had to clean ourselves just to feel comfortable!! Some areas had thick dust. Extremely tatty bathroom. Duck tape fastening blinds together. But I also think the cleaners would be wasting their time due to the mess its in. It all needs a huge investment.

External: Unfortunately there was continuous revving of car engines. It's not the hotel's fault, but there's alot around the hotel, so if you want quiet, you'd probably be better finding elsewhere.

The pool: The pool was nice. The changing rooms could do with good cleaners. The showers also had black mould.

Parking: Good. But better signage on the road would be better.

Andrebbe rimodernato , negli anni 80/90 probabilmente era il top.
Pros:

Excellent will definitely look at this chain for stays in other towns I visit
Pros:

The room was huge, I asked for a bath which I got, it was very deep. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful, I didn’t have a remote for the tv but within 5 minutes they’d brought one to me. shows that a minor problem is rectified with no fuss and a smile! Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash provided in the bathroom. Two decent sized cups for drinks, and some biscuits and two nice tumblers for water, I hate a tiny water glass as I like to have a glass of water next to my bed! Also they had a water cooler in the lobby which is a nice touch. In my room I had a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. I didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked nice. I will definitely look at this chain hotels for stays in other places

Cons:

No usb charging ports in the plug sockets. Not a problem for me as I’d brought a charger plug with me and there were plenty of plug sockets, but if I was to suggest an improvement this would be it

Pros:

Great on site facilities - gym, pool etc plus restaurant, bar and Starbucks. Lovely courtyard to sit in the sun. Downstairs looks very well maintained and modern.

Cons:

The room felt a little bit tired, chips to the wood of the desk and just a bit dark.
Hated the self service check in.
