Really good and we would look for holiday village when booking future travel
Pros:

We received what we expected from a hotel. It’s was very clean and apart from the receptionist who was grumpy everything was perfect even though there was a wedding function in the hotel service was still very good.

Cons:

The receptionist was not welcoming, she didn’t look like she could be bothered or even wanted to be there.

Friendly staff upon arrival, easy check in, comfortable bed.

Cons:

For a Club Room it was poor...! Lots of floor space but no small table (but a comfy chair), nowhere to place clothes (just a hanging rail), no hot water (despite running the water, and wasting it), no body lotion, no teaspoons for the cups. Believe this is one of the upgraded rooms, so maybe it's a work in progress, but poor value for money currently. Bar staff a bit moody!

Won’t be coming back, for the price point it’s pretty expensive for absolutely nothing
Cons:

They didn’t notify about construction shut downs and noise, which we had a toddler trying to nap some days! No fridge in rooms so couldn’t keep milk or other basic things for child.
dirty ammenities, windows not opening, shower heads are very tricky to work out.

Not up to standard
Pros:

Paid top rate for what should have been an clean, modern room however got a drab - tied room. Shower room was grotty and the flush barely working. I would have got a better room at Premier Inn ! Next week will be looking for different hotel.
The desk was dirty
