great location. Small rooms but comfortable
Location and staff were great. Liked a little kitchen.
It's a bit outdated. Some kitchen equipment is there but no pots or even a kettle. You have to ask for them which is not a big deal. The bed is a bit uncomfortable and the air conditioning is quite loud.

We had a spacious room for three people, which was very comfortable. It was also very convenient to have a small kitchenette, allowing us to enjoy a quiet and relaxed breakfast in the room.
The hotel is in a really great location, within walking distance of Union Station and many of Toronto’s other attractions. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel as long as you’re on one of the topfloors as unfortunately construction work just in front of the hotel and works in the street (weekdays) when we were there.
The construction work was mentioned on the hotel’s website, but not on Booking.com. We arrived on a Saturday, when there was no construction work taking place. We immediately asked for a room on a higher floor and were given one, which made some difference. So, be sure to check where the construction work is taking place when checking in your given room.
I understand that this situation is not easy for the hotel and that the construction work is beyond their control. However, you ultimately pay the same price for less comfort and peace and quiet.
We were on the 17th floor with great high rise views which really gave the vibe of being in Downtown Toronto close to the financial district and about 1km to the harbourfront and a 600m walk from Union Train Station. We advised in advance that our train would arrive prior to scheduled check in time and we had early access on arrival which was much appreciated. A kettle was provided on request and the kitchen was well supplied with crockery and cutlery. We booked many months ago not realising the Toronto Film Festival was on, so it was fun being part of that buzz as well as being around a home game for the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team - seeing all the fans in their regalia.
A roomier lounge would be welcome
