Stunning location, attentive and outstanding staff and great rooms made this stay a perfect night in gorgeous Ortigia.

This is a beautiful, 40-room property a block off of the Duomo square and in the heart of Ortigia with easy access to all the sites and very attentive service. We had a lovely room and only wish we could have stayed longer! We loved sitting outside for drinks, and had an excellent dinner - try the veal. :)

It was all wonderful - lovely room, fantastic location, wonderful staff, all perfect, and then on check-out, we were presented with an extra bill of 5% of the total for "service/staff tips", and with other guests and staff around us, felt forced to pay like it was some kind of protection racket. Please pay your staff properly rather than giving guests and unexpected "discretionary" bill of over €100 at the end of their stay.

A terrific location, metres from the Duomo. Beautiful, spacious rooms, warm and personable staff who remembered us throughout our stay. And great breakfasts!

Brilliant location excellent staff

Our stay at Palazzo Artemide was great! All the staff gave excellent service - the ones we met and those behind the scenes. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. A special mention goes to Louisa and the breakfast team, who greeted us cheerily every morning and were first class! The hotel itself is elegant, spotless and well-maintained and extremely well located. If you’re looking for one of the best places to stay in Ortigia, then look no further. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. It is first-class.

This hotel the best! Favorite of 7 hotels we stayed in over 3 weeks. Location is ideal, staff is great, really top notch. The Jr. Suite was quiet - no street noise, with a beautiful large bedroom, comfortable bed and pillows, separate desk, bathroom spacious, good shower, and ample space for toiletries, and separate living room a big plus. Nice place to sit and room to store luggage so bedroom not cluttered. Checked all the boxes re conveniences: outlets in all places needed (each side of bed for night reading), and in bathroom,
TV worked well. Was able to stream Netflix. Breakfast (included) was a large very appealing spread with many choices. We highly recommend this hotel and give it 5 stars in all categories.

A must stay at this location. You will not be disappointed !!
Great location, great staff great ambience. You are in the heart of Ortigia . You will not-need a car or transportation as everything is within walking distance. Rooms are nice and comfortable.

In a fantastic location, this recent hotel was well equipped and the bar and restaurant were also right on the walking street next to the Duomo. It helped taking advantage of the old city. We were with our whole family of 10 with 5 rooms and every thing went fine benefiting from a very kind staff.

Amazingly quite room - facing the main tourist street of Ortygia. Excellent location. Service was excellent. Bathroom ventilation was a problem. Power plugs by beds were inadequate. Breakfast eggs were terrible, although the rest of breakfast was good if overpriced.
