Très bien comme d’habitude
Pros:

Comme d’habitude, très satisfait du Sunstar qui nous accueille avec notre chienne sans problème ! Chambre trés spacieuse avec une vue sur l’Eiger magnifique
Super petit dejeuner

Cons:

Seul petit bémol, pas
De Clim mais peut être parce que nous avions une chambre dans la partie moins récente .

Decent, but over prices
Pros:

Good location. Great view of the Eiger

Cons:

Over priced for what it is. Rooms a bit dated. Pool was not open during stay and wasn’t informed before and was banking on making use of it during UTMB races.

Lovely stay in a spectacular area
Pros:

Our family of 6 shared a 2 bed suite. Room was to a good standard. Much more traditional Swiss than modern but that was fine by us. The Eiger view from the room balcony and hotel bar was spectacular.

Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly.

The hotel is very well located and served as a great base for exploring Grindelwald and further afield with easy access to train station and cable car.

the BEST location in Grindlewald with excellent room and features.
Pros:

Probably the best location in Grindlwald! - i've stayed here a number of times on motorcycle tours either with my wife or daughter as passenger. Its always been very very good. (for clarity, i have stayed at other locations too)
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. You don't need air-conditioning at this altitude as even on the hottest days it cools significantly at night - so the room was nice and cool to sleep in. Grindlwald is always silent at night too.
I like that the mini-bar is included in the room rate - i think this is great and there was water, a couple of soft-drinks and a couple of (really quite nice) non-alcoholic beers in the fridge for us to enjoy. In addition, we received a ticket for a welcome drink at the bar which again, i think is a very nice touch.
The pool area and the pool itself have recently been refurbished - the pool itself being a lovely warm pool with spa-like features which is really nice. If you have the weather, as we did, then getting out of the pool and heading out to the patio to use a sun lounger looking up at the north face of the Eiger is really one of life's greatest treasures! It doesn't get much better than this and that's why the hotel is in the best location in the town.

Cons:

For UK travellers the whole of switzerland is expensive - it just is! - and this hotel is no exception - but as noted above, its worth paying extra for to gain things like the pool and the sun terrace.

في وسط السنتر اطلاله جميلة للغرف المطله على الجبل
كل شي قريب منك لدرجة كل ما فتحت قوقل ابحث عن مطعم واجهز السيارة يطلع اما يمين الفندق او امام الفندق حتى التلفريك لقمة فيرس امام الفندق لا تحتاج سيارة الى لذهاب الى منطقة اخر
