The Location is good. Staff were friendly and polite.
The room I stayed was a loft the picture did not show it. For a 6.3ft person like me. I couldn't stand upright. I couldn't have a shower, because the bathroom ceiling was right on my head. No space the room was roo small. And I paid for standards single. What will the small single room look like.?
Good location
Breakfast was disappointing,we started with cereals, the milk was off it tasted disgusting both me and my wife were gagging with the bad taste of the milk that we also used for my coffee and her tea such a shame as it is a lovely hotel.
Nice hotel, good bed and shower, nice breakfast, convenient location.
Reception was friendly, but both the bartender (dinner) and the lady at the breakfast didn't seem to like (or understand) their job (hospitality). And parking fee seems unnecessary.
Good location.
Not enough staff so kitchens closed early.
Really helpful staff and nice location
Noise from rooms and no mobile phone and WiFi didn’t work
Have stayed there before. Always a lovely friendly atmosphere.
Fabulous friendly staff, from the reception staff, to the bar staff. Really helpful, only stayed a night as we were meeting friends for dinner in Fleet.
Nothing
Hidden away and quiet . Room was excellent ( once we got the correct one )
Staff were minimal . Gave us the wrong room then missed chips off our food order despite checking with us twice . They never did arrive . Too few people trying to fill too many roles
Spacious, friendly and helpful staff
Very outdated rooms & very run down, No A/C only worn out old fans provided, stains everywhere and the worst shower i've ever seen in my life, everything was either stained broken or loose cracked mouldy tiles and loose fittings and was completely inpractical, blood stains on pillow and shower curtain, stains on sofa, bathroom sink cracked, skirting and ceiling repaired badly or damaged, scuffed walls. Absolutely appaling and unacceptable condition and really disappointing for what was supposed to be a lovely overnight stay. Way too expensive for an "executive" room, I would not stay here ever again. If every room is like this the whole hotel need closing down. Photos for proof.
The staff were lovely. All were friendly and happy to help.
The entire hotel decor was dated. My room itself was west-facing, and the curtains had been left open. I did ask for a room away from heavy footfall, which ended up being in the roof space. So, it was hot. The decor was tired in here too. In fact, there were rips in the net curtains, and they looked like they hadn't been washed in ages.
There was quite a weak signal for the TV and WiFi in the room. I went to my room early as I didn't want to watch the football. Turns out I couldn't really watch any TV in my room!
I stayed on a dinner, bed and breakfast package. The dinner menu was quite limited and, if I'm honest, a bit over-priced.
This was supposed to be a treat for me, but honestly, it didn't feel like it.
