Hallways needed a good clean
Good location. Most staff where helpful. Comfortable room good value for money.
Entertainment staff most of them i.e the 2 guys struggled to sing their song struggled to carry a note for most of their songs . To the point some guests walked out of the room .
Good price and location - did the job.

We use this hotel several times a year and really enjoy staying here. The rooms are clean, have T+ C provided, a TV and ensuite. It's excellently positioned for the harbour, the town, beach and Leas Cliff Hall. It takes a lot of unwarranted criticism. It's starting to get back on its feet after COVID and other situations. I recommend it.
The last two visits this year I have had to get the police out for a safeguarding issue and for a fight in the grounds. These issues involved local people who are allowed to access the hotel bar and restaurant, and not residents. The guy at reception was no help whatsoever and there was only one security guard on duty- in this huge hotel, on a night when England was playing in the World Cup! The hotel management needs to reconsider its policy of allowing non residents to access its facilities or maybe make a small charge, as do some holiday camps. I am sure the coach companies who use this hotel would not be impressed.
This is my only complaint against what is basically a great hotel .

All of it... a bit over rated for what you get
De prijs is oké.Beataalbaar en efficiënt. Leuke locatie.
The traditional decor and friendly atmosphere was inviting.
The position of the hotel it's just perfect! I like that they have a swimming pool as well and in the restaurant they have a place with toys for the kids.
I think they would do better with little bit more cleaning. For example, when we checked it, our corridor from the lift to the room was very dirty...messy and no one cleaned it up in 5 days we have stayed there.
Great location near the beach and perfect for an early ferry. Very spacious room.
Car parking was a little tight.
the location
It was run down, dirty, smelly, far too expensive for what it is. The fire alarm even went off at 2.30am
