The swimming pool
Definitely had bed mites mattress looked really bad plus I kept getting bites googled what bites they were and it said bed mites also every time I was on the bed another bite so this ruined the stay.
Die Lage war für uns hervorragend. Das Frühstücksbüffet war völlig ausreichend. Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit.
Wir waren mit 2 Motorrädern unterwegs und mussten trotzdem 2x Parkgebühr bezahlen. Das war sehr ärgerlich, da wir nur einen Parkplatz nutzten.

Fantastic location. Entertainment staff were great, really hard working and friendly. Loved my room, got upgraded to premier room with balcony. Food good and inexpensive.
No lock on my patio doors, felt a bit vulnerable as travelling alone. Lift to 10th floor out of action one morning but fixed by evening. Car park very full and tightly packed

Tatty, uncomfortable and dated
After reading so many negative reviews, I couldn't fault anything. Staff work hard and are all helpful. Value for money and in a room which had a fridge, ironing board etc was a bonus and a fantastic view. Comfortable beds and chairs.
Rooms very hot and dated. A little improvement on the cleanliness would be beneficial. Smell of ĺcannabis coming from bedrooms and.some be quiet signage may help with people letting doors bang etc.

Too small parking, too much noise, too hot without air-conditioning, dirty corridors and lifts
The Burstin is very well located. It's centrally located for seafront, harbour arms, bars and restaurants which are just a few minutes walk away. It has a few lounges and entertainment hall were there is a programme during the day and evening if that's your thing. Tea and coffee in the room.
Even though the room was clean and it a bit tired and dingy. Other budget chains manage to keep rooms fresh and modern but somehow this isn't. Cheap mattress. Bathroom functional. The accommodation needs an upgrade. The freshest part of the hotel was the entertainment hall.

Our toilet would not flush after using it once. As we were only staying overnight (very early shuttle) and we didn't realise until it was very late, we made do and reported it to reception via a note when we left.
The room was also quite hot, but we were provided with a fan, which helped.
