Lovely location but beware they now charge for the carpark and don't inform you in advance
Pros:

Perfect location and really friendly staff.

Cons:

When I have stayed there previously the car park has been free. Stayed with a friend and they charged us £15 each. Adding an additional £30.to the bill without prior notice I think is unfair. Would question whether I stay again because of this.

Pros:

Convenient location with great breakfast, but in need of modernisation
Pros:

Excellent location and onsite parking, staff helpful and friendly and delicious breakfast - reception advised we were the only guests having breakfast (they’re about to change hands so weren’t offering this service for other bookings ) but said they would honour it and bring it to our room.

Cons:

Rooms are tired and run down, the shower water pressure was useless- it was like standing under someone blowing a raspberry! It was noisy (but then we knew that so not a problem) as there was a band on in the bar below. We were told breakfast would be room service but instead we received a call to come to the restaurant which did put us behind a bit (we had ordered for 8am, they called us down at 8am so had to wait for it to be cooked)

Good stay for the money
Pros:

The staff were good and accommodating when I turned up early . The breakfast staff were really polite and efficient . Good shower in room . Location great .

Cons:

Room was really tired, I booked a superior double , the room Was a good size but really needed a good paint. Marks and stains on walls. Wasn’t superior that I could see , wouldn’t want to stay in standard room.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, delicious breakfast. Building and interior could do with some TLC.
Pros:

We had a very warm welcome on arrival, in fact all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room, or suite as it's called was a very big room with a 4 poster bed and an en suite bathroom with a jacuzzi style bath, which was lovely to relax in at the end of the day. Breakfast was superb with a good choice of fruit, cereals, yogurt and pastries, and the cooked offerings were delicious, compliments to the chef on perfect runny poached eggs! The hotel building is very grand and impressive and the inside is equally as plush.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the room doesn't look quite as grand as it does on booking.com. The TV that is shown attached to the top of the bed has gone, although the bracket is still in place which looks ugly. The beautiful draping curtains on the sides of the bed no longer exist, there was only one cushion, not two, and the bed itself was quite uncomfortable, a very thin hard mattress and the pillows were very flat, hence we didn't get really restful sleep. It was lovely to have a jacuzzi bath, but the bath itself is poorly fitted and is very tatty around the top with the sealant peeling away, there is also grout missing from between the wall tiles. A lovely but sadly quite a tired bedroom and bathroom.

Great Location, Friendly Staff, Good Value, well worth a look if your staying in Bournemouth.
Pros:

My room was top notch, the breakfast wasn't all that, and took ages to arrive some days ( the staff, who were great by the way looked rushed off their feet ) and the location was excellent, right across the road from the Conference Centre, which was well handy, and the staff were great.

Cons:

The Breakfast could have been better, I believe that the breakfast option is no longer going to be offered from June onward, so maybe the last few weeks of the breakfast was not of the usual standard as they are winding down the breakfast service operations.
