Except for the paid parking aspect, we enjoyed our stay in the City Market area.
Pros:

The rooms were nice and comfortable. The Staff was friendly. The location was good for seeing a lot of things.

Cons:

Parking was a lot of money, and was valet parking, so the tips added up. That was a $200 additional fee overall. It's kind of sad that one has to pay for parking when you choose a downtown hotel.
