I was still happy due to being with my wife for our 9th wedding Anniversary.
Pros:

I liked how walkable we were to everything.

Cons:

I didn't like that my sheets were dirty upon arrival, and had to request that they be changed. That parking isn't included with your stay, and that you charged $48 a day and not let that be told upfront. I don't like that a security deposit is also asked for at the time of check in, that should be disclosed when a guest is booking their stay. I really feel like those issues should be addressed so that guest can plan there stay better. Some people live on a budget and don.t like surprises.

Unwelcome Surprise

My husband, and I stayed for three days for our Anniversary. I was upset due to the extra fees they surprise you with at check in. $200 extra out of pocket that had not been planned for due to $48 a day parking for a average size vehicle more for larger vehicles, and $100 refundable security deposit ( refund 3-10 business days) it’s not a problem about paying it but let the guest know up front when choosing to book a room and not when they are checking in at the desk. The sheets on our bed were dirty with stains in several areas, they sent someone to change them immediately. I enjoyed the stay as far as the food, city, and scenery. I just wished that the extra fees were already included in the hotel price period.

Wonderful hotel. One block from river street and convenient to everything within walking distance. The staff was excellent, the rates are competitive and the valet parking was outstanding. Be sure and stay here; you will not regret it!

The perfect stop on our road trip
Pros:

This stay was one of my favorite Hilton experiences. Lo checked us in and she was kind, personable, and informative. Lave brought our car up from valet at checkout. He was kind, professional, and even offered to load the bags in our car. Hotel was nice and close to so many places. Perfect location for great scenery, sight seeing, and dining. The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was quiet and you didn’t even hear noise from the bars in the area. The hotel was worth the cost of the room. Lastly the historical vibe of the area was great to explore and see. I love the old school atmosphere and speak easy vibe of Garibaldi restaurant.

My three daughters and I stayed here for a girls’ getaway from Atlanta. Check-in with Latasha was very smooth and easy. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable. The only issue in the room was a dirty tv screen and being on a noisy street but that didn’t bother us too much as it didn’t keep us up. We visited the pool and the girls enjoyed it. They provided pool towels and ample lounge chairs. On our last day, we had breakfast in the lobby. It was à la carte, not Buffet. We were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was!! The best thing of all was the location!!! We walked everywhere and loved seeing the city that way. I couldn’t give a full five stars since they only clean the rooms every other day so our room wasn’t cleaned for our two night stay. Otherwise, Go ahead and book here, I hope you enjoy your stay like we did!!

The property wasn’t a central location.

Cons:

The room was musty and smelled like cigarette smoke. We tried to change rooms, but there were no other rooms available. We were charged an extra $535 because they assumed that the smell of smoke was from us. We explained that the cigarette, butt they found in the garbage was not from us smoking in the room and the previous guest obviously smoked there but the area manager Scott refused to help us.

Everything was fine but if you are not thinking to spend a lot of money and then also spending money on breakfast and also the hot tub is broken I do not recommend but the rooms are clean there is a pool and also very kind employees
