Friendly hotel with great pool in convenient location

Good, basic west valley base for an LA visit.
Pros:

Helpful staff (thanks!). Breakfast was good, with typical options including sausage, eggs, breads, yoghurt, and sweet items. Location is safe and convenient to the Ventura Freeway (101) to access downtown LA and points North, and to Topanga Canyon Blvd. to access beaches, the Getty Villa, Santa Monica, etc.

Cons:

Room was pretty tight. Motel style layout, with 1st floor door and window directly adjacent to outdoor parking.

Pros:

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms are all away from the busy street so it was quiet. Rooms were spacious and clean. Location was ideal right by the freeways. Grocery store and coffee shop right across the street.

Cons:

The mattress needed replacing. It was very worn. The breakfast left something to be desired. The drinks were very watery, the scrambled eggs tasted off and there wasn't a pancake or waffle machine.

Nice San Fernando Valley locale
Pros:

There were a number of.good dinner restaurants nearby. Parking was safe and close to rooms. .There was a supermarket across the street for stocking up on snacks. And the breakfast was plentiful. Even tho the hotel is on a busy street, Ventura Blvd., no traffic noise was heard in the rooms.

Cons:

Everything was okay. Nothing to complain about.

Pros:

Très bon emplacement, au calme sur les hauteurs. Chambre spacieuse, bien équipée, propre ( faite tous les jours), literie confortable. Centre commercial en face de l hôtel très pratique et appréciable. Laverie disponible dans l hôtel.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen 12-tägigen Aufenthalt und waren sehr zufrieden.
Pros:

Frühstück: wie fast überall in CA. Hier wurde dafür nach jedem Gast, der sich etwas vom Buffet genommen hat, sofort die Theke geputzt und auch die Tische und bei Bedarf der Boden.
Zimmer: Wir hatten eines mit Patio, sehr gut für uns für den Abend zum Raussitzen. Das Zimmer war immer sehr sauber.
Lage: Man ist so in etwas in der Mitte zwischen dem Pazifik und dem Zentrum Los Angeles. Guter Ausgangspunkt für alle Unternehmungen. In jede Richtung so 45 Minuten (Megaverkehr überall).
Pool: Auch Schattenplätze, wenig Leute, ruhig, Bis 21.00 Uhr geöffnet.
Kaffeepads im Zimmer.
Viele Parkplätze, große Zimmer.
Wir waren zur Poolseite hin, sehr angenehm, da auf der Parkplatzseite die Sonne voll hinscheint. Was im Sommer eher unangenehm ist.
Auf der anderen Straßenseite viele Geschäfte und Restaurants.

Cons:

Frühstück: Für uns Europäer wenig Auswahl ;-). Das ist in CA halt so.
Leider gabs tagsüber kein Trinkwasser zur freien Verfügung.
Das Poolwasser etwas zuu kalt. Es war halt erst Anfang Mai.
Der Waschbeckenbereich ist vom Bett aus frei einsehbar und hat keine Türe. Nur zum WC und Badewanne ist eine Türe.
Klima eher laut, wie fast überall.
Aber - alles nicht so tragisch !
