A gorgeous little time warp, updated where needed. Easy transport everywhere and a great location. Staff were fantastic, the history of the place is amazing and the pool was gorgeous

The swimming pool was lovely and free parking was a bonus. Reasonably good choice for breakfast.
The WIFI was terrible! Not having a kettle, tea/coffee making facilities in the room did not reflect the 4 star rating of this hotel.
Good traditional hotel with excellent staff, decent rooms, all very clean. We had a very good tasty dinner, with attentive not intrusive service, beautifully presented and very tasty.
Good big pool and access to swimming platform. On the bus route to get to Ortigia or taxis are easily available.

When I arrived because I was solo, they gave me a tiny room with the worst bed imaginable. I did ask for them to change it, and they gladly and quickly did. My new room was absolutely lovely. The pool is incredible, the facilities are sparkling clean, the ambience is amazing, the hotel smells wonderful, and the breakfast is very good. The breakfast and dinner staff are absolutely lovely, as are the maids.
Even when they changed out my tiny room for a new room, the beds were subpar for what I paid. There is very little around the hotel, so I ate the same two places or the hotel restaurant. It's about a 20 minute walk into the main city center, which is not bad, but the area is pretty remote.

The pool was lovely. Breakfast was really nice.
No room facilities like water or tea and coffee. Paying 300 euros a night you expect some luxuries. Rooms were nice but needed a bit of a spruce up. Id say value for money just wasn't there but still a pleasant stay.

Poolside was good too , the restaurant was excellent and the service from the staff too was nice.
Rooms were cleaned and sheets changed everyday if required .

A charming old-world hotel in a quieter location outside the main tourist area, balanced by a bus stop right outside for easy access to Ortigia, plus a lovely pool, outdoor area and great breakfast.
Not much around the hotel location but local bus stop just outside.
Wir bekamen ein kostenloses Upgrade in die Lady Clementine-Suite. Die Suite ist sehr schön und hat eine Terrasse mit Aussicht auf das Meer und die Altstadt von Syrakus (Ortigia). Das Hotel gibt es seit 1862. Es strahlt einen gediegenen Charme aus.
Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber wäre es auf einem top-5-Sterne-Luxus-Niveau, hätten wir es uns nicht leisten können. Was auf jeden Fall repariert werden müsste, ist die Pool-Dusche.
