Hotel che consiglio , mi sono trovata bene.
Pros:

Villa antica molto bella con splendido ingresso nel verde con alberi secolari. Grande parcheggio. Ben ristrutturata con ascensori e sul resto della villa una grande piscina con lettini bar doccia , ottima per rinfrescarsi e rilassarsi, ben tenuta . Buon ristorante e ottima colazione. Personale gentile e disponibile ovunque .

Odrobina luksusu na Sycylii
Pros:

Bardzo uprzejma obsługa, piękny hotel w cichej lokalizacji. Przyjemny basen, pyszne drinki i śniadania. Niesamowity klimat obiektu, można naprawdę się zrelaksować, poczuć się wyjątkowo. Duży parking.

Villa storica con un bellissimo giardino che affaccia sulle latomie, con camere e servizi assai puliti ed accoglienti anche negli spazi. Posizione leggermente decentrata che consente comunque di raggiungere agevolmente il centro anche a piedi. Staff accogliente e sala colazione bellissima. Staff gentilissimo ed efficiente

trés bel hôtel des année 1800, bien rénové avec un décor d'époque et assez confortable
trés belle piscine

Cons:

la connexion wifi était caduque (chambre 135) peut être meilleur dans le autres chambre, je ne sais pas.
Prix des consommations à la piscine sont assez cher je trouve

Great affordable historical hotel if you don’t mind staying a bit out of town.
Pros:

Nice staff, big & quiet pool area, great terrace overlooking the ancient quarry and was affordable.

Cons:

Location slightly out of Syracuse and Ortigia, rooms are basic, prices for food and drink within the hotel are quite dear. I also didn’t hear anything about the hotel’s private beach during my stay which was a big selling point when I booked online.

Tolle Lage, sehr gute Busanbindung in die Altstadt, sehr sauber, es gab jeden Tag frische Handtücher, das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich. Wir waren das zweite Mal da und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Cons:

Breakfast poor for a 4 star hotel, lots of options but half of them were cake and local pastries, there could be more and better fruit, pressed orange juice. Eggs were not very nice
Our room had a very noisy air conditioning (switched on all day automatically), we could only switch it off at night which we did due to the noise, but then it would get very hot during the nigh
There were gaps at the top and bottom of the door so there was a lot of light coming in the room because of the corridor light (always on)
These are small things but they made a difference

Havde sin charme og ok beliggenhed, hvis man gerne vil køre i 1,5 time for at opleve både Taormina og Ragusa og alt deri

Ok pool område. Hvis man vil gå til Ortigia, skal msn gennem noget knap så spændende områder. Ca. 20-30 min gang til Ortigia.
Mangler at kunne sidde udenfor og spise morgenmad.

Cons:

Savnede en tennisbane eller i den stil. Hotellets restaurant var på et prisniveau, som ikke holder ift at spise i Ortigia. Drikkevare fra hotellets bar en anelse for dyrt. Lidt slidt hotel.

Es un hotel muy bonito y agradable. Un ambiente histórico fantástico. La piscina está muy bien y el salón de desayunos muy bien. Te puedes tomar algo por la noche en una terraza en la entrada también muy agradable. Buen servicio de parking. Una estancia inolvidable

The hotel is elegant. Lively period furniture and decor. ALL the staff were helpful, thoughtful, efficient. Historical significance was interesting. The quarry and grounds were very interesting .

Two days in Syracuse
Pros:

Majestic hotel with historical and cultural value. It is located over old Cappuccini stone mines with a theater inside and it gives out a beautiful vibe.

Cons:

The hotel, although it is architecturally and historically important, could use a renovation, especially inside the rooms. Also, the management should suggest to the guests that stay in the rooms at the front side of the hotel, not to hang towels or clothes at the balconies because it ruins the facade view of the main entrance.

Loved the pool area, but otherwise a little disappointed.
Pros:

This hotel is very grand and is still living on its 1955 visit from Sir Winston Churchill! It was very clean and the room was lovely although on the small side. The swimming pool is its biggest selling point. it was beautiful, very clean and comfortable sunbeds. With a small pool bar.

Cons:

The breakfast service is very lacking, the maitre' D was less than helpful. Supplies of food are not replenished enough for the amount of guests staying. The staff would bring out one loaf of bread at a time..... which would be gone in seconds. On several mornings we had to stand around waiting on food to be replenished which isn't good enough in a 4 star hotel, and I don't just mean one item of food. The morning in question, there was no bacon, no eggs, no bread, no cold meats or cheese, no butter and no milk......... lots of guests were moaning, one female staff member seemed to be the only one running around bringing out supplies, whilst the maitre'D walked around with his nose in the air and a young male staff member walked around with a tray, trying to look busy but not actually doing anything.
My other gripe would be that the hotel does not offer a hospitality room for late checkout, they told us to use the pool showers and get changed in the toilet!!!! or pay 50 Euros to keep the room for an additional 4 hours....... very poor.
