I would return for a relaxing few days.
Pros:

The pool area was ideal, clean, easy to use, quiet, loads of space!
The beds were very comfortable, the view was incredible, stunning historic building.

Cons:

The bar/ reception area was more dated than vintage. The atmosphere was often strained, the outside terrace was much nicer and suited the hotel better.
The breakfast wasn’t consistent in its serving, coffee was good one day and then terrible the next.

La habitación era oscura en luz natural y artificial, y está con un baño viejo, no antiguo.
No había donde colocar nada, ni una balda ni mesa.
Desayuno justito.

Zeer goede airco, uitgebreid ontbijt. Mooi zwembad en prachtig gebouw.

Very good, low cortisol good vibes and lovely staff, the hotel smelled nice and was very clean and old money pure italia

It was so beautiful and felt like you went back in time, so relaxing and good vibes the scenery from our balcony was wonderful

Maybe just the price of drink and food a little overpriced but other than that wonderful

La struttura è favolosa, sembra di essere in una favola, e lo staff molto accogliente e gentile (ci si sente coccolati). La colazione molto ricca in un salone meraviglioso.

Cons:

Mi sarebbe piaciuto trovare un asciugamano in più (ad esempio per i capelli dopo lo shampoo) e le ciabattine monouso. Lo shampoo a disposizione brucia tantissimo gli occhi, consiglio di cambiarlo.
La doccia ha fatto qualche capriccio legato alla pressione dell’acqua.

6 adults, all in different room styles. Hotel is large and airy but has a uniqueness from its history & location. It’s not a modern pre-fab!

Cons:

The location is a good 25 mins walk from Ortigia and the bus timetable was a bit iffy. €30 for a 6 person taxi €20 with 4, one way
Rooms could’ve done with a kettle. Easy enough to order room service but convenience is preferable
