Very nice place to stay, we even saw a bear
Pros:

We had a wonderful balcony view of the river and the woods. It was very peaceful.

Cons:

The people in the room next to us were smoking pot on their balcony, we had to go in because we do not like the smell of that, but that was not the fault of the property owner.

We had a very nice stay.
Pros:

Our room location was phenomenal! Little or no road noise. The view of the woods and the river was outstanding. And the sound of the river was so relaxing. It was if we were in an isolated mountain cabin. My wife also raved about the spacious soaking tub.

Cons:

The suite was small. Very little space for suitcases and their contents. And there was very little room to move around on the balcony. The walk from the car to the room could be a bit challenging for someone with limited mobility. We never did receive our complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. I also question if the electronic communications were ever read.

Romantic and cozy hotel close to various attractions
Pros:

The hotel is close to the main street, a short walk. The room is very cozy. Romantically decorated. Close to the river. The breakfast was excellent. We also had dinner there, which was very delicious. We loved the uniqueness of entering the room with a code.

Cons:

nothing

Pros:

Amazing spot and easy access to Smoky Mountains National Park. The Heirloom breakfasts were top notch, setting you up for the day. The balcony views from the rocking chairs overlooking the river (and wildlife) made for a serene escape in the middle of Gatlinburg.
