Pros:

Everything else about the facility was amazing I really enjoyed my stay!

Cons:

I didnt like the way that google maps gives you directions to the hotel. It was very confusing trying to find the entrance since I am not from Chicago, but I called the hotel and they did very well at explaining how to enter the parking area.
Also a microwave in the room would have been nice.
Breakfast in the morning was really good, but it would be nice if the area where you serve yourself was more open without a wall in the middle or if there was someone making sure that everyone is cutious because there were a few guests who made the experience a little hectic.

Just Book it! Fantastic!!
Pros:

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! From the parking to check-in to our room, it was seamless and a fantastic experience. The room was incredibly clean and that is saying a lot coming from me. The shower pressure could knock your socks off and was super hot! One of my favorite showers I’ve had in a hotel to date. Actually still missing it now that im home. We could hear a little road noise from our room, but it wasn’t bad in the hotel provided earplugs, which made it a non-issue. The gym was down from our room and even though we didnt use it, it was a SUPER nice gym. I was very impressed. The rooftop is super fun and the food was fantastic and the people friendly. A must try is the The tres Leche Cake. It was ao unique and was to die for!! The free breakfast we had in the morning was great! No stale bread or cold items to be seen! they had a great assortment. We travel to Chicago approximately every eight weeks and will be exclusively staying here from now on. You will not be dissatisfied with your stay here.

LOUD Road Noise!
Pros:

Thank god I was only here for one night on business. While the room was clean and comfortable, none of that matters if it is so noisy that they have to provide ear plugs. I have stayed in cities throughout the US and abroad and this hotel was so load with road noise and an A/C unit that sounded like it was taking off from ORD (right outside your window). Front desk was nice but I’ll choose different accommodations the next time I’m in town.

Solid, Chicago area hotel to stay in.
Pros:

Solid hotel to stay in. Very close to the "L" station to get downtown and/or the airport (Blue Line.) Rooms are comfortable and everything worked fine. You get a good night's sleep as you away from the city and the noise from the city. The Kennedy Bar has a magnificent view of the Chicago Skyline and is an ideal place to hang out on a beautiful afternoon. Nice breakfast buffet. Great neighborhood to explore with many restaurants and bars nearby.

Great weekend in Chicago.
Pros:

Great location, clean and lovely rooms with beautiful views. We had a wedding welcome party Friday night that was incredible. Very enjoyable.

More like a Days Inn.
Pros:

This hotel was expensive ... but doesn't have the amenities to back up the price. The rooms are basic, no mini bar (to force you up to their bar/restaurant on the 7th floor), no room service, the fridge was tiny and it was warm when we arrived. No fan in the bathroom which turns the whole room hotel room into a sauna after a shower. And the view was the top of the surrounding buildings and ugly as sin. The free breakfast is one step above the Courtyards'. The eggs tasted like reconstituted eggs, everything was overly salty, the fruit was not ripe. And the coffee? Was DREADFUL. How do you screw up coffee? We've stayed at several Hyatts in Chicago and this one should change it's name to Days Inn.

The staff was pleasant enough, but so are my neighbors and I don't pay them $700 a night to be sweet to me.

Avoid.

Beautiful place
Pros:

Perfect location if you're going to the Salt Shed!!! Easy short walk, safe area. The breakfast was really good too. Highly recommend. It's pricey and I think a free drink at the bar should be included.

nice place to stay to walk to an event at the Salt Shed
Pros:

breakfast was really good, nice place, very clean

should not have to pay for valet or parking if you're already staying. Room cost was very expensive. Should have come with a free drink at the bar.
