Hôtel bien situé, mais confort limité.
Pros:

Hôtel bien situé à 5 mn seulement de l’arrivée des ferrys. Personnel très sympathique toujours prêt à rendre service.

Cons:

Chambre spartiate très bruyante de jour comme de nuit (Amalfi n’échappe malheureusement pas au surtourisme!). Salle de bain au confort limité avec une petite cabine de douche peu pratique. Salle du petit déjeuner trop petite par rapport à la clientèle. Cet hôtel aurait besoin d’un sérieux rafraîchissement ! Difficile de comprendre que les propriétaires de cet hôtel n’investissent pas dans la qualité des installations alors qu’ils sont assurés 365 jours sur 365 d’avoir tous les touristes à leur disposition du fait de la réputation de ce site!

Proximity to the centre of Amalfi and to the port

Cons:

The noise levels were too much - as the room allocated to us was facing Piazza Duomo. Whilst it is understandable during peak season, it is not comprehensible that the locals & workers scream out amongst themselves from 4am onwards. It made our experience quite negative as we couldn’t sleep. Also, apart from Luana at reception (beautiful person!)during day shift and one other gentleman that did the night shift, the other staff never greeted you unless you did nor did they ever have a smile on their face!!

Pros:

Great location, free breakfast that actually tasted good.

Cons:

The bed was super uncomfortable, and the pillows were more flat than a pancake. The key was almost impossible to open the door.

Disappointing and loud
Pros:

Nothing I can really point out I am afraid, it felt more like a hostel.

Cons:

Very little, although the location was good, the noise at night was terrible, drunks until 2pm then from 4pm they were out collecting rubbish and at 6pm setting up for the next day. Breakfast was basic and staff were okay.

Would not stay here again
Pros:

Location was great. Walkable from the ferry port and right in the square near interesting restaurants and shops. Room had decent sized balcony

Cons:

Bathroom smelled very bad, constantly. They must have some issue with sewer gasses coming up through the sink and shower drains. Front desk staff was also unfriendly, didn't say a word to us at check-out except to hold out hand for our key. Same for check in. Bed mattress and pillows were horrible too, hard as rocks.
