Pros:

La posizione e la cura della struttura nel suo complesso architettonico. La cortesia del personale. L'atmosfera molto curata e confortevole creata negli spazi comuni

Cons:

La stanza molto piccola ma soprattutto senza una vista nè sulla città nè su un cortile gradevole. La mancanza di un interruttore per il controllo dell'illuminazione della stanza dal letto (era necessario alzarsi per accendere la luce di lettura). Una sola presa disponibile nella stanza per l'alimentazione della corrente al fine di permettere la ricarica di cellulari e PC (che andava pertanto alternata).

The location.

Cons:

The room was full of dust. The furniture is dated and not well maintained. The bed sheet was ruptured and on top of everything we found some bugs both on the bed headboard and on the bathroom tile. We tried to identify the type of bugs using Google as we were afraid not to be bedbugs. Not clear as we smashed them before. Anyhow, we had to disinfec all our clothes and luggages just to be sure we don't bring back home such "souvenirs". Not a good experience for us and I do not recommend this hotel even if the location is grear and the reception personnel was very nice.

This hotel is AWFUL. Very dirty, a lot of black mold, WiFi and AC issues, and then extremely unprofessional management. Truly worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Pros:

Location is excellent nearby the attractive area and Catania University. Breakfast is typical italian.

Cons:

It is so difficult to connect to internet through WiFi. I couldn't work using WiFi and even sent message from handphone. The temperature (the room is at 4th floor) is high so that I couldn't sleep well. I complained for several times, nobody solved the problem.

Posizione eccellente, stanza molto grande e confortevole e assolutamente pulita. Personale molto cortese e disponibile, ci ha fornito un'ottima assistenza per tutte le nostre richieste.

Cons:

Le stanze sono decisamente troppo buie e le luci non funzionavano tutte, il che rende tutto ancora più scuro. La qualità del cibo della colazione era molto buona, ma devo fare un appunto importante sulle bevande. Il cappuccino con il latte a lunga conservazione non è possibile che sia proposto in un hotel italiano di questo livello. Per me questo pregiudica molto il giudizio sulla colazione purtroppo

Four-Star Location, Two-Star Experience
Pros:

The location was amazing and the staff really professional.

Cons:

I booked a three‑bedroom, and the single bed was a sofa bed that was very uncomfortable. The mattress was nearly nonexistent and I could feel the springs against my back, so I couldn’t sleep properly. In addition, the bed sheet was not clean and the toilet brush was dirty.
Breakfast was disappointing: there was very little choice and the quality was poor. It would have been better to go to a local bar, which would probably be cheaper and much higher quality. Overall the rooms need maintenance, especially the bathroom area where the bath was heavily scratched and the ceiling vent was barely attached. Considering this is a four‑star hotel, I found the experience very disappointing. The staff were very professional and polite, and they acknowledged my complaints.
