Das Konzept des Hotels baut auf drei Punkten auf:
Einer tollen Lage in der Altstadt,
der Tatsache, dass Tallinn eine Destination ist, in der die meisten Gäste nur kurz bleiben und nicht wiederkommen werden, so dass sie meistens über Mängel und deren Nicht-Beseitigung hinwegsehen
und einer zunehmenden Tendenz zu einer undifferenzierte Überbewertung, bei der alles, was ein wackeliges Bett und eine Toilette hat, mit zehn Punkten bewertet wird, ohne jedoch zu berücksichtigen, ob es sich um eine Strand-Bude auf Java für ein paar Dollar oder ein 4* Hotel in Tallinn handelt.
Konkret gibt das Hotel als Ausstattung einen Parkplatz an. Als wir bereits mit dem Auto durch die Altstadt irrten - da das Hotel überhaupt nicht per Auto erreichbar ist - erfuhren wir auf telefonische Nachfrage recht robust, das mit dem ‚Parkplatz‘ die öffentlichen Parkplätze am Ring (die eine lokale App erfordern) gemeint sein und wir dann doch bitte unser Gepäck quer durch die holprige Altstadt zum Hotel tragen mögen.
Diese Information hätten wir gerne vorher, möglichst schon bei der Buchung gehabt, um unsere Entscheidung treffen zu können.
Was soll das?
Warum geht das Hotel nicht konstruktiv damit um und stellt dem Gast alle notwendigen Informationen rechtzeitig zur Verfügung? Wir haben zumindest 1,5 Stunden verloren.
Das Zimmer selbst war voller Billig-Möbel, die sich gerade im Stadium des Zerfalls befanden, die Klimaanlage war defekt (was uns auch erst Nachfragen bestätigt wurde), ebenso das Licht, der Handtuchhalter und Fensterbeschläge.
Zusammen mit der extremen Unfreundlichkeit der Rezeptionistin bei der Anreise ergibt sich für uns ein Gesamtbild, das über 5 nicht hinaus kommt, da der Gast hier lediglich als zahlender Durchlaufposten verstanden wird.

Perfect spot for sightseeing!
Pros:

Best possible location, literally 30m from the main square in the Old Town. Close to a 24/7 shop if you ever need something late at night. Many restaurants are close by. Good selection for breakfast.

I liked everything, great place.

Sehr zentrale Lage, antike Architektur .

Cons:

Vielleicht gibt es ja auch bessere Zimmer. Unseres war muffig, das Fenster war verschraubt und konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Das Bad war blitzsauber, mit einer freisteheden Badewanne inmitten des Raumes, ohne Duschvorhang o. ä. Eher nicht sehr sinnvoll.

A nice place to stay
Pros:

Excellent location Very clean and spacious place, staff was really good and helpful whenever we needed help. Stylish design in the room.

Cons:

There was not a shower, only a bath which was not convenient, no curtains so that bathroom floor was full of water after use. As the room was on the ground floor in the backyard I left the door opened for a while to refresh the inside air and a huge rat 🐀 entered the room....fortunately I shouted and ran outside immediately I think the backyard needs some more repair to avoid similar incidents.

Perfect location, charming hotel and a fantastic staff team.
Pros:

Fantastic location, so close to the main square. All of Tallinn old town is walkable from the hotel. The staff were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. A cooked breakfast and buffet meant a good start to every day.

Tuba oli suur ja voodi mugav, kapis nii sussid kui ka hommikumantlid. Väga vaikne hotell suurepärases asukohas. Hommikusöök oli maitsev, sai tellida omletti või muna erineval moel ning putru. Kohv oli hea ja oli ka piisavalt puuvilju.

Cons:

Kogu hotell on pisut väsinud. Põrandakatted vanad ja vannituba on kardinaga ning tahaks uuendamist. Mõnus sisehoov oleks eriti mõnus peale kerget värskenduskuuri.
