Not an exceptional resort
Pros:

Good breakfast. Exceptional 3 course dinner meal with bottle of wine included.

Cons:

No one to help with bags at checkin.No entry staff. Room placement on second floor at back of hotel was over A busy, noisy loading dock after being assured at check-in it was a quiet room .

Nice rooms but I'll try somewhere else next time

Rooms are large, beds are huge and comfortable. Staff are lovely

Cons:

1. the car park lights are on all night and shine straight into all the bedrooms at the front of the hotel. If you are on the second floor the windows are curved at the top and let all the light in. Its better on the first floor but not good enough, Just turn the lights off after midnight.

2. The gym is open to the public and feels like a public leisure centre rather than the spa experience it looks like in the pictures - really busy - couldn't get on a treadmill in the middle of the day. Swimming lessons in the pool. no room in the hot tub... considering the price of the hotel room I would have expected an exclusive gym - or at least to be able to use it.

Pros:

Good location and nice setting. Friendly staff

Pros:

Very comfy bed, friendly staff, good food and excellent breakfast

Cons:

Having the sugar cubes individually packed is not very ecological, even if I am aware that this is a hygiene decison. Creates a lot of plastic waste though.
