Great location and service
Pros:

Super good location. It is just one block away from downtown and 15 minutes walking from the famous Santo Domingo church and archeological museum and ex convent, on a beautiful pedestrian street.
The hotel staff is super nice and helpful. The restaurant is also very good.

Pros:

The location was perfect. Staff was helpful and friendly. The outdoor seating area was very inviting and beautiful. So pleasant to sit outside, have something to eat or drink from the cafe, and enjoy the beautiful and calm atmosphere. Loved the birds, Javier and Lucia!

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower was poor and it did take time to get to a comfortable temperature. But the room was excellent and worth the less than perfect shower water situation.

Charming Colonial style boutique lodging with stellar staff.
Pros:

The Parador San Miquel is a lovely Colonial styled hotel perfectly situated walking distance to all the important sites of Oaxaca. The staff was very helpful and cheerful, the dining room menu extensive and of good quality. The rooms were large, well appointed and spotless. Asking for a room to the back of the hotel will ensure a quiet stay.
