Cosy nice little place 20 min walk from town best thing is you can park for free.
No air conditioning so if it’s a heatwave you only have a small fan

No refrigerator in room and during a heat wave, no air conditioning
The property was immaculately presented, as was the room specifically. It is also very easy to locate, being on the Banbury Road, so it is good for stays pertaining to the University of Oxford or if you are visiting for more leisurely purposes.
The decor is a little dated but I don't think that matters, does it? The room was spotless, and that's the important thing. Is it even really a British hotel room if it's not a little old fashioned?

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The room and ensuite were very clean.
It was a little 'tired.' The paintwork on some of the furniture was chipped and the bath panel warped where water had dripped from the shower.

Room was lovely & the hotel is in a very convenient spot for walking into the centre of Oxford. Breakfast was really good too.
The bed was comfortable although the pillows were rock hard! We changed them on the second night. Also our room wasn't cleaned or towels changed. We were only there for two nights so we managed fine.
Beautiful exterior, amazing location, lovely courtyard and amenities, really lovely staff
Rooms were not air conditioned, beds weren’t very comfortable and the bedding was rough. Toughest part of our whole stay besides the heat was the noise in the morning. You could hear all the walking above us and I believe we were right next to the housekeeping closet because we heard the door slam at least 15 times between 8-9am. It was really unfortunate not being able to sleep soundly and being woken by such loud noise.

It was very hot in our room ( due to hot weather conditions). Air conditioning would have been nice. The fan only provided limited relief.
