Lovely short stay. Definitely visit again.
Pros:

Lovely few days here for a last minute break in the sun. All staff without exception were friendly and welcoming. Food was very good. The views of the sea were excellent with lots of things to watch. The pool was lovely too.

Cons:

My only “gripes” would be that the sun loungers needed extra cushions as it was uncomfortable to lay down for long periods of time. And the loungers weren’t tidied up at the end of the day and the area given a good clean. The pool was cleaned daily but the surrounding lounging area needed a hose down.

Our room was perfectly acceptable but a bit tired looking and could do with a refurb.

Einfach nur herrlich, wir haben uns wunderbar erholt und kommen gerne wieder!
Pros:

sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, welches keine Wünsche offen lässt!
Den Gratis Wasserspender auf der Etage beim Zimmer haben wir rege genutzt, besonders bei den heissen Temperaturen.
Wir hatten die Star Prestige Suite und waren rundum zufrieden. Die Wellness Räume sind sehr schön gestaltet und die Damen machen ihren Job hervorragend!
Der Indoorpool mit Massagedüsen ist auch bei sehr heissen Aussentemperaturen empfehlenswert. Dass Wasser ist dort ein paar Grad kühler wie in den sehr warmen Aussenpools.
Das Meer an der Felsenküste ist herrlich, der Zugang über die Badeleiter erfordert aber Kraft und sportliche Geschicklichkeit.
Ein kleiner Mietwagen ist von Vorteil, da die Lage etwas ausserhalb des Dorfes ist. Allerdings sind die oeffentlichen Parkplätze vor dem Hotel an der Strasse begrenzt. Wir haben aber immer ein Plätzchen gefunden.

Cons:

Am grossen Aussenpool hat es einige unstabile Sonnenschirme. Die Hülsen bei den Betonsockel sollten neu fixiert werden.

An amazing, luxurious hotel! We can't wait to return one day!
Pros:

We opted for the Star Prestige package which included a fabulous room! It was very large, had lots of amenities inside and had a gorgeous sea view. The buffet breakfast was also brilliant and had so many different options to choose from! We loved all the pools and the fact there was a gym too.

Cons:

We found that the dining room for Breakfast & Dinner was very hot and we think it should have better Air Conditioning as it was not pleasant to eat in a very hot room every day. We also think the free snacks at the Star Prestige bar should be placed out in a buffet selection rather than having to ask for them at the bar every time.

Hotel und Ausblick sehr gut - direkte Umgebung eher nicht
Pros:

Unser Zimmer war toll, sehr sauber und der Ausblick unschlagbar. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Wir hatten ein Penthouse Zimmer mit eigener Dachterrasse - das war wirklich klasse und Entspannung ist damit garantiert. Man ist mit dem Taxi schnell in schönen umliegenden Orten wie Palma, Port d'Andratx oder Port Adriano.

Cons:

Die Lage etwas abseits an der Bucht ist für den Ausblick und die Ruhe unschlagbar. Gleichzeitig bedeutet das aber auch keine guten Möglichkeiten für einen entspannten Abendspaziergang o.ä. Die direkte Umgebung des Hotels ist ziemlich heruntergekommen und wenig einladend. Wir wussten das vorher und wollten die Abende sowieso in umliegenden Orten verbringen - ich könnte mir aber vorstellen, dass man enttäuscht ist, wenn man das anders plant. Wir haben jeden Abend problemlos ein Taxi bestellt. An einem Abend sagte uns eine Rezeptionisten, das würde nicht gehen und wir sollen zum nächsten Taxistand laufen. Haben wir gemacht, um einer Diskussion aus dem Weg zu gehen - fanden wir aber natürlich nicht gut, weil alle anderen Tage super schnell per Mausklick ein Taxi für uns geordert wurde und die Dame offensichtlich einfach nicht wollte.

Read before you book – great staff, rooms and sea views, but the experience is dramatically better with Star Prestige.
Pros:

The sea views are lovely and the direct access to the sea is a real highlight, with several ladders/swimming spots, including a more sheltered area when the water is choppy. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and an issue with our shower was fixed very quickly.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and a live omelette station.

Above all, the staff were fantastic. From the welcome at check-in to the bar and restaurant teams, service was consistently friendly, helpful and efficient.

We were able to upgrade to Star Prestige during our stay and it transformed the experience. The Prestige pool areas are significantly nicer, with more and better-quality loungers, including lots of cabana-style beds. Wine, cava, sangria and soft drinks are included, along with a small selection of snacks twice a day.

Cons:

The biggest issue is how different the hotel experience is without Star Prestige. It is advertised with 4 pools and features lots of attractive photos of the Prestige areas. While two pools are labelled “additional charge”, it wasn’t clear that access is effectively dependent on upgrading to a Prestige room, and an upgrade isn’t guaranteed as it depends on room availability.

The standard pool area felt noticeably more tired and less well maintained. The photos I’ve attached are of the standard/non-Prestige areas, to give a more representative idea of what guests without the upgrade can expect.

Sunbeds are also reserved very early, often before breakfast. This happens in Prestige too, although there are more beds and you should generally find one, even if it isn’t your first choice.

The buffet lunch was awful, bland and overcooked, and the coffee throughout the hotel was poor, mostly from cheap automatic machines.

Finally, we didn’t particularly like Santa Ponsa itself; it felt very mass-tourism/McDonald’s-and-Burger-King compared with other parts of Mallorca. We much preferred heading down the coast towards Port d’Andratx for dinner.

Lugnt och avkopplande, kände oss verkligen bortskämda!
Pros:

Fantastisk frukost, sköna sängar, härliga pooler och en enormt fin utsikt! Trevlig personal och extra trevligt med Prestige delen och all service där. Kände oss väl omhändertagna. Enkelt att ta taxi in till Santa Ponsa.

Hotel bonito, con vistas impresionantes delante del mar
Pros:

La ubicación: una maravilla delante del mar con unas vistas impresionantes. La piscina grande y espaciosa . El personal muy atento , lo reciben q uno con una copa de cava, el desayuno muy variado , las camas muy cómodas. El hotel muy bonito en general .

Cons:

La habitación : una suite, muy pequeña la parte donde estaban las camas, y el baño pequeñísimo , tanto que no se podía ni vestir uno dentro. Un espacio desperdiciado con la jacuzzi que tienen puesta en el medio

Superb views and location, spectacular breakfast buffet, very friendly and kind staff
Pros:

The breakfast buffet was really extraordinary, so much choice and delicious food and drinks; swimming pools were amazing and you could also jump straight into the sea from the hotel terrace

Cons:

Part of the rooms could use some maintenance or paint, like the showerheads or bathtub

Fornøyd med alt utenom hotellrommet og rensligheten.
Pros:

Nært til sentrum, men også litt tilbaketrukket, som var deilig.

Cons:

Mye maur rundt på hotellområdet, spesielt på rommet vårt. Veldig dårlig trykk på vannet i dusjen. Rommet sto ikke helt til forventningene i forhold til prisen.
