Good place to stay as a tourist
Pros:

Modern looking and well maintained hotel and rooms. Junior suite worth it for the extra space, we upgraded for another 83 per night. Lots of space to put your belongings. Fluffy towels and good shower pressure. Decent toilet paper, scratchy Kleenex. Slow response time to requests when you call Reception, 30-60 minutes. Housekeeping first day not done, learned we had to put out a sign asking for it, then no issues. Air conditioning inconsistent. Kept blinds closed to help as it seemed to struggle. Didn't stay at temperature we set it, and turned off in the middle of the night; we asked and were told this was automatic and could be turned off. We did and it wasn't an issue in the night after that but sometimes came back to room and it wasn't on.

Very quiet and very central located hotel

Nicht ganz perfekt - in Top-Lage!!
Pros:

Die Lage, die Ruhe (kein Straßenlärm, keine lauten Pubs in unmittelbarer Nähe), super Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel - Tower / Tower Bridge-Areal fußläufig zu erreichen.

Cons:

Superior-Zimmer mit einem Fenster nur knapp so groß wie ein Handtuch, das war enttäuschend.
Insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, fleckiger Teppich im Flur, Beleuchtung nicht zeitgemäß (entweder Festbeleuchtung im Zimmer oder dunkel), Klimaanlage zwar sehr effektiv, aber laut (Brummen, Gurgeln, Wassergeräusche).
Bad geräumig, Duscharmatur hat rund um die Uhr getropft, insgesamt zu wenig Aufhängemöglichkeiten für Handtücher.
Service und Reinigung sehr gut, täglich gratis Wasser, Kekse.
Frühstücksraum/ Restaurant zu kühl klimatisiert, insbesondere morgens ungemütlich. Frühstück mit guter Auswahl, Eierspeisen werden frisch zubereitet. Kaffeezubereitung verbesserungsfähig, insbesondere was Cappuccino und Latte macchiato angeht.
Abendessen hatten wir auch einmal. A la carte, das war sehr gut und der Service ebenso!

Rezeption: Check-in etwas lustlos, keine Info über Frühstückszeiten, Facilities o.ä., check-out auch wenig interessiert, Rechnung vorgelegt, abkassiert - fertig.
Gepäckaufbewahrung gut organisiert, abgeschlossener Raum, Gepäck wird mit Anhängern versehen, man bekommt einen Abholschein. 👍🏻

Fazit: super Lage, Hotel insgesamt „gut“, aber durch die Abstriche stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Niveau für mich leider nicht.

Pros:

Minden rendben volt, már második alkalommal érkeztünk. Ha legközelebb Londonba érkezünk, akkor is itt fogunk megszállni. Nagyon szeretjük a környéket, biztonságos, közel van a busz és metró is.

Apex City of London was a very comfortable base for our three day stay in London.

Comfortable Room and Very Good Breakfast
Pros:

Ease of check in; large and comfortable room so I could relax properly after a long hike. Couple of unexpected free treats in the room. Convenient for Fenchurch Street. Excellent breakfast

Cons:

slight issue at dinner however immediately resolved by the night manager in a very good, efficient and understanding way

Sehr gute Hotel mit Toplage!
Pros:

Super Lage am Tower Hill , nur 300 m von der Tube entfernt. Sehr gute Lobby und Restaurant / Bar mit durchweg sehr freundlichen und immer hilfsbereiten Personal im ganzen Haus. Lobby mit Häppchen usw. Zimmer groß genug mit sehr guter Klimaanlage die gut zu regulieren ist. Sehr gute Betten!
