Very convenient location for what we wanted to do. This was a very nice hotel as well. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Nothing
The location, lobby and coffee shop.
The bath, hand and face towels desperately need to be replaced. They were worn thin. Also, a deep clean to bathroom floors and baseboards is needed, or a replacement.

Location next to the subway was great
The heating at the time was on the warm side, the thermostat in the room was inaccurate by 4-5 degrees
There are so many things we enjoyed during our stay here!
Location: central, downtown Toronto, directly connected to the PATH underground climate controlled pedestrian walkway system, and within a 30 minute walk to CN Tower, Ripleys Aquarium, Union Station, Hockey Hall of Fame, St Lawrence Market, Scotia Bank Arena, Rogers Centre, Berczy Park, City Hall, and countless options for shopping, dining and entertainment. This was a game changer!
Lobby: Beautiful, safe; costly valet parking is offered, but we didn't use it. Spot hero found us a garage around the corner for much cheaper.
Rooms: Two different styles from which to choose. Tower suites, which are more traditional style hotel rooms built in the newer tower, and Historic Suites, which offer an apartment-like stay built in the old bank building, some having a live/work area with mini kitchens and living rooms. We chose the Historic Superior Suite with an interior view. The windows in this room looked out onto inside walls, so there is minimal natural light in this room. It did include a relatively large living area and a kitchenette with a sink, dishwasher, and small stovetop. You have to ask for kitchen supplies like dish soap, but the hotel is happy to provide these upon request. The kitchen also had a Lavazza brand single cup coffee maker. The bathroom had both a shower and a large tub.
Amenities: We didn't have time to use the fitness center, but we visited it and found it to be adequate. There are separate women's and men's saunas, and one large jacuzzi hot tub that is very generic. There are two restaurants on the property; Teller's Bistro in the lobby, and Daily Ritual Cafe, which offers common cafe items like coffee and pastries. There was a small expanded breakfast menu available at the time we visited.
Hospitality: exceptional! Staff was very friendly and eager to accommodate. Text communication is available, & hotel is very responsive.
Bathroom in the Historic Superior Suite could use a remodel. We found the large tub to be useless for us personally. It took up a huge amount of space that could have been better utilized. I found myself missing counterspace in the bathroom, and I hit my elbows off the wall when trying to dry my hair in the mirror. This is my only complaint, though, and it is being nitpicky! Everything else about the hotel was fantastic.
Check in was easy and efficient. Valet parking was also very convenient. Rooms were clean and spacious and staff was very helpful. The location was perfect and access to the Path Underground system made avoiding bad weather a joy.
Everything was excellent! the room and the view were spectacular to say the least. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The atmosphere and the bar were warm and inviting.
Very friendly environment.
