Beautiful Hotel and grounds. The rooms are lovely and the pool is amazing. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The terrace for our room had stunning views. We were in town during the Festa di Sant'Anna and even saw the fireworks from our terrace - a nice treat! Highly recommend!

Lokalita hotelu byla skvělá. Příjemné okolí kolem bazénu mezi citronovníky a v bazénu byla čistá voda. Velký prostorný pokoj s vysokým stropem.
Velmi špinavé a staré koberce na mramorových chodbách hotelu - ty vyložně degradují interiér. Na pokojích je slyšet hluk z okolních pokojů.
Snídaně není typická italská, je tu znát přizpůsobení klientele z Velké Británie bohužel a je tu mizerný výběr slaného pečiva. Na to že je hotel v Sorrentu u Neapole tak bychom očekávali typické pečivo pro tuto oblast.
We’re still here sitting under the lemon trees by the pool. I’m a fussy and particular traveler. We work hard for our salaries and expect to get what we pay for which sadly doesn’t often happen. However, this hotel, the service, the staff, the cleanliness and the food is second to none! It’s utter bliss and Sorrento itself is both quaint and beautiful with something to suit every taste. Thank you staff for being wonderful and we ABSOLUTELY will return.
We have just returned from our second visit to the Antiche Mura in Sorrento and had another great holiday. If you are going to Sorrento and want to be at its heart this will be an ideal hotel for you. Some hotels claim to be in Sorrento but you can be left with quite a walk to get to the centre. This hotel is only a hundred metres or so from the main square, Piazza Tasso and considering how close it is to the centre, it’s amazing how peaceful the garden/pool area is at the rear of the hotel. There you can lounge in full sun or under the shade of a range of fruit trees. The hotel reception staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel offers a good buffet style breakfast and we were really pleased to see some familiar faces from our previous visit. All the staff at breakfast are excellent and it was good to see Rocco, Salvatore and Antonio again along with a few new people, another Antonio, Marika and Francesca. All helped make our stay really special. After breakfast the lads double up around the pool bar making sure that everybody is well looked after. Again, it was good to see Viviana here and another new face Pasquale. For your quiet, peaceful days in-between any site seeing you may want to do, relax by the pool and you will be well catered for. Also, a big thank you to ‘Nobody’ in the hotel ’Nobodys’ bar who kept the drinks coming along with some good conversation 😊

Absolutely everything about our stay at this hotel was phenomenal. Our room, the pool, the service, the staff, oh the location. And we were travelling with 2 toddlers, so it can be difficult. But we already know when we come back to Sorrento, this is the only place we will stay.

In die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt, muffiger Klimaanlagengeruch, hatten ein Zimmer mit Kellerfenster gleich neben dem Frühstücksraum, dadurch war es etwas laut. Muss aber positiv anmerken, dass uns ein Tausch auf Nachfrage auch angeboten wurde, allerdings war das Zimmer noch kleiner und der muffige Geruch war derselbe, sodass wir nicht getauscht haben.
The hotel was everything we could of asked for. The front desk and staff at breakfast were wonderful. We liked how central the hotel was to the rest of town and the rooms were very clean .

We have just spent 11 glorious nights at this hotel - the location, just off Piazza Tasso is perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, special mention to Rocco who managed the breakfast service. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel with a small but lovely balcony on which we spent time sipping wine and appreciating the view. The weather was very hot so the pool was very welcome, and never felt too busy and it was easy to find a sunbed, even later in the day. Pool towels are provided daily at the pool bar. The sunbeds could have been comfier. The pool bar had food available for purchase at lunch time if you don't want to venture out in the heat and the pool was perfect. There are lemon and orange trees surrounding the pool area and tiny lizards running around.
Our comfort room was in the main building and there are also some rooms in a separate annex by the pool
The location is great. From the train/bus station it's a 5 min walk. To the port (for ferries and boat excurions) it's about 12 minutes - it's a pretty big descent down and then up on the way back - which isn't a problem and definitely not an issue that reflects on the hotel. Just good to know. Lots of restaurants around and Sorrento is I'm sure super great to wander in. I just stayed one night so didn't get to expeirence anything other than staying in the hotel and taking the ferry to Positano and the next day a boat excusion with a small group to Capri. Breakfast was good. The pool is good - it does close at 730pm.
Every interaction with the staff was great, too. The bed was surprisigly comfortable. I think the overall value in Peak season is reasonable.
Europe in general with these 4 star ratings is overstated. Coming from North America I would look at this as more of a 3 star type accomodation. Little things. The shower setup is weird and didn't drain properly, and when you get out there's so much water outside the shower area in the bathroom. To no conditioner in the shower. I get it. We're in Italy and it's not something usually provided. But still.

We went to Sorrento for a wedding and spent 4 nights at the Antiche Mura. Everything about it was just perfect. When you step into reception you just know it's going to be something special. The service. The staff. The room. The outdoor area's. It's hard to make sure you cover everything, but we genuinely couldn't fault it.
