The room was quite empty and very sparsely equipped. There were hardly any amenities, such as disposable slippers, cotton pads, cotton swabs, glasses, or a kettle. Overall, the room was very basic and modestly furnished. The staff were not particularly welcoming, and the reception staff were of very little help.

You don’t expect 5 star luxury at an Ibis but I used to think they did the basics well. Those standards have plummeted,

Convenient for city tram line. Some nice restaurants in the area.

Cons:

Staff were unknowledgeable about Milan. Breakfast borderline inedible. Quite dirty all around the common areas. Rooms were clean enough but quite pokey.

Pros:

I was very happy to know that there was a luggage room. It's not something you find everywhere but it is paramount to a good service. The location of the Hotel was also strategic if you know your ways with underground and busses.
