We got married at the Grange Hotel last year and were given a complimentary 1 year anniversary meal at the hotels restaurant, The Brasserie. We were welcomed straight away, even though we were early, our table was ready. Our table was very pretty, with a crisp white tablecloth covered with rose petals. The food was amazing, we had the bbq belly of pork bites, I had the hunters chicken, my husband had the gammon & we both had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. We could not find a single fault with the food, it came out quickly and was piping hot, which is something I particularly like. It was all delicious and would happily come here again, not just for the memories of our wedding day but the food was amazing. We have to give a special mention to the two girls that were serving our food, Daisy and her coworker ( i think Erin, our meal was on Sat 15th Aug) they were lovely, welcoming and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, they were great and definitely an asset to the restaurant!

Globalement l hotel manque d entretien la fermeture de la fenêtre du 308 est cassé d un côté . Les moquettes dans les couloirs sont très defraichies . Les plinthes sont manquantes par endroit . Le revêtement de la salle de bain est très vieux .
Great location, building and grounds lovely ☺️
Our room wasn’t very clean, we upgraded for £25 and wished we hadn’t. The toilet was dirty, dark rim around the bath and just generally grubby around the edges. A lighter left in there (we don’t smoke so not ours) wasn’t worth an extra £25 for an upgrade.
Breakfast was good but not amazing. The staff are great. The hotel is nice but definitely needs a bit of tlc and refurbishing
The decor!

Se aprecia cierta falta de mantenimiento en las paredes (pintura y papel pintado) y en las moquetas. Teniendo en cuenta el encanto del lugar y la categoría del hotel, sería conveniente invertir algo más en su conservación y puesta a punto. Algunos miembros del personal de recepción podrían ofrecer un trato algo más amable y cercano.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were nice.
It was very noisy with barking dogs. There was a wedding on and so lots of people were coming and going with slamming doors. The room was very stuffy with one small to cool it down. A strong smell of damp in some of the stairs and corridors. It could do with freshening up a lot.
Beautiful mansion house and wonderful setting.Saw the Bristol balloons sail over the horizon while I ate the lovely dinner!
Good sized and well presented rooms.
Public areas need refreshing, scuffs, dirty paintwork.
Fans in rooms seem unable to combat the stifling heat and would perhaps benefit from being replaced.
Place is nice & staff also good. Breakfast is very good. More varieties with full English breakfast.

No air conditioning and no windows open so room was very warm when we arrived. Hotel a bit tired
Room was a good size with plenty of space; curtains were effective at keeping the room dark in the morning; cleanliness; overall the room was very comfortable and we slept well.
Furniture in room was slightly dated, as was the bathroom, although very clean and not awfully tired or shabby in appearance; corridors need maintenance as the carpet/skirting board are poorly presented and many of the doors are very scuffed; doors to rooms close noisily and suspended floors in rooms mean footsteps above are easily heard.

The hotels location
Hotel was very comfortable but a little tired. Could benefit from a little TLC
Location would have been ideal for a halfway stop on a long journey. Hotel in nice country setting.
Room was in poor condition, dirty and required updating. Our room was a long way from reception at the back of the property with a skip outside our window.
Arrived early and wasn’t warned of a very large school prom attending that evening. After checking in we popped out to visit another area and came back to find the we had no where to park, and the driveway was congested with cars, motor bikes, limos, etc all parading in front of the hotel to a very large crowd of onlookers.
We decided to check out. Staff were apologetic and gave us a refund.
Ellie was really lovely while checking in, super outgoing and friendly. Super helpful and answered any needs we had!
