Hallway carpet was vey stained. There was stale smell in the room. The security lock on the door was inoperable. The hair dryer plug was a fire and death hazard.

poor, less than positive experience.
Pros:

the shower pressure was good with plenty of hot water

Cons:

in my opinion the motel management needs to focus on the general upkeep of the facility (entire building, inside and out, needs painting, needs new carpets throughout, and the stairwells need paint and new treads); plus the first non-smoking room I was assigned smelled of stale smoke and the floor had a chunk of flooring missing. I refused to stay in this room and was given a different one.

Good location but could definitely use upgrades.
Pros:

The location was good - close to the highway and plenty of places to eat in the area; really enjoyed dinner at Buffalo Wings & Rings - they had a great dog friendly patio. The food was good, cost was reasonable & the people were very nice. It wasn't too far of a drive to OSU which was the reason for our stay because we went to the game. It is a dog friendly hotel ($20/pet/night)

Cons:

A LOT could be better here especially for the cost. I paid $480 for 2 rooms 2 nights - rooms were standard nothing special. Could use better bedding like an actual bedspread instead of all very thin blankets. Paint chipping & cracking. One wall had some kind of residue running down it. The handle on one of the bedside tables was just hanging off. Not too big of a deal BUT there wasn't a printed TV channel guide so it was a lot of flipping. The hallway rugs should either be deep cleaned or replaced. I only saw 1 vending machine and 1 ice machine on the first floor (maybe I didn't explore the building enough??). The "laundry area" was nothing I would personally use - it looked dirtier than any clothes I would be washing. And while I understand they only offer a free continental breakfast - even THAT selection was sparse! I have had other continental breakfasts that offered fresh fruits, yogurts, pastry - here there were some individually wrapped whole grain dry bagels, Quaker granola bars and stale cereal! I didn't even try the coffee - which wasn't even IN the breakfast room! It was in the lobby! And the lobby had a non functioning water fountain. ALSO - when I booked online there was NO mention of a $100 "deposit" being taken at check-in (supposedly it is refundable within 5 business days from check-out; we'll see!) The whole place smelled stale. The smell of weed and cigarette smoke was strong. I KNOW I didn't pick a 5 star hotel BUT still! Given the cost you would think they would have a bit more pride in making the place welcoming for customers. I don't need the Ritz but I still would like to get my money's worth!

No bugs, at least. But not worth it
Pros:

No bugs! The "free breakfast" isnt worth it - we went to the neighboring Waffle House. The flooring in the roomwas loose and a tripping hazard for an older adult who shuffles. The shower handle was broken and when I turned on the shower water flowed right out onto the bathroom floor

Needs repairs
Pros:

Room floor needed repairs. Sharp edges can not walk around in bare feet. Check in was not right. Check out could no get the 1pm time even was offered on website.
