It was warm, charming and a peaceful stay and clean even with shared restrooms and showers
Pros:

It was slightly secluded and surrounded by food
options and public transportation and the staff were friendly, accommodating and welcoming

Stay somewhere else. The San Remo lost its funky vibe. Used to be clean too.

The room itself was OK.

Cons:

well, the place is a wreck. they are fixing or remodeling a ton of rooms and there's chaos everywhere. This place used to be funky and cool, but no idea whats going on and they looks like they are turning some into modern? Makes no sense with such an ornate building. this is one of those things where whoever owns it now has no idea what the San Remo was cool to begin with. The communal bathrooms not too bad but one had a leak with a bucket under the toilet and it was full of water and over flowing. I won't stay there ever again with those changes and the construction chaos/noise.

A charming, cozy stay in the beautiful heart of San Francisco!
Pros:

The hotel is undoubtedly gorgeous, it feels like a place that's stuck in time and walking around its hallways transported me into another time. The amount of free maps, guides, free coffee and a water refill is very welcome, but one of the best things is its quiet, safe and well-connected location.

Cons:

The floors and the carpets around the hotel were quite dirty, which is one of the things that you can't help but notice when you first come in. The rooms are tiny, which isn't a problem in itself whatsoever, but they're also a bit stuffy and some lamps don't work (or there was one which turned on by itself whenever we'd touch anything around it). I didn't mind the lack of elevators, but it's a noteworthy thing to mention; especially since the stairs are quite steep and climbing up them with heavy bags can be quite daunting.

Très bon hôtel , bien situé
Pros:

L’établissement est vraiment très bien situé , vous êtes à deux pas de tout .
C’est parfait . La chambre n’est pas grande mais elle est fonctionnelle .

Cons:

Les stores ne sont pas occultants , dès que le soleil se lève la chambre est complètement illuminée , il vous est donc difficile de continuer à dormir.

Pros:

El hotel tiene cierto encanto antiguo, y la zona es muy linda. Está muy cerca de little Italy, con buenos restaurantes y ambiente animado en la tarde-noche.

Cons:

El hotel está muy mal mantenido, le falta limpieza y los baños compartidos no son cómodos. La habitación es demasiado pequeña, es difícil encontrar dónde abrir la valija. La verdad creo que la relación calidad/precio es muy mala.
