The wrong room to start with, no aircon, roof top bar was unavailable the 2 nights we wanted to use it.

Advertised as a 4-star hotel, but in reality it felt closer to a 2- or 3-star property. The hotel charges a city tax at the 5-star rate (€10 per person per night) rather than the €7 rate typically charged by 4-star hotels.
The lobby looks dated, and both rooms we booked were very old. The bathroom tiles had visible mould, which was disappointing. We stayed for three nights and booked two rooms. In both rooms, the air conditioning was not working properly. It made a constant noise when switched on, but provided very little cooling.
To make matters worse, the ceiling in our room leaked for two nights during our stay. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had for the price paid. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
The room,the location and the restaurant
The reception staff were very rude and unhelpful.I had requested an early check in after flying 30 hours from Australia I even had a confirmation message stating a early check in had been approved between 12 -1pm staff did not want to know when I tried to show they they just told me 3pm was check in. Kept me waiting until 3.15,pm without even offering me even a glass of water. Let's see if my stay next week is any better but this time I have booked an additional day due to the cruise ship docking st 7am

Der Service war hervorragend. Sehr nettes zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir haben eine Abendfürung gebucht, die kostenlos angeboten wurde. Das war auch toll. Frühstück und Restaurantbesuche waren auch top.
Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist etwas abgewohnt. Beschädigte Dinge scheinen notdürftig repariert.

Offer for city tour and Pasta cooking class didn't happen even after trying to book in advance. This was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. To be told it was not available after two separate occasions to pre book was very disappointing. The shower in bath was a problem as the floor got saturated. The entry foyer carpet was so worn and did not make you feel as if the hotel was taken care of , a bad fit st impression as was the flooring in the hallways. A bad look.

"I highly recommend avoiding this hotel. The staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. There are absolutely no facilities, and the air conditioning in our room was not working at all. When we contacted the operator to complain, they dismissively told us they couldn't do anything about it. Even when I mentioned filing a formal complaint, they showed total indifference and responded with an awful attitude. It was a truly terrible stay, and I would never recommend this place to anyone

La mancanza d’onestà nel dire che nell’hotel c’era un problema d’aria condizionata . Dopo varie richieste mi veniva risposto che l’aria era fresca e che l’ambiente era arrivato a temperatura. Dopo l’ennesima richiesta mi hanno mandato il manutentore il quale ha ammesso che c’erano problemi all’impianto.Al check out non mi è stato chiesto com’era andato il soggiorno, dato che avrei richiesto il rimborso per il disagio .UNA PRESA IN GIRO a me e a tutti gli occupanti dell’hotel

The location was good for us
The room was unclean when we arrived so ended up cleaning it ourselves. There was hair in the bathtub. The shower was not the most practical thing, the screen didn’t go all the way around so the bathroom was wet every time you used it
