Music on that night
We had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions about the check-in process. Our check-in time was 3:30 p.m., but after we explained that we were very tired from a long journey, they kindly prepared our room earlier. We really appreciated their understanding, kindness, and excellent service. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We would be happy to stay here again!
The only small downside was that the room was a little cold because the air conditioning was controlled by the hotel staff rather than by guests. It would have been more comfortable to have the option to adjust the temperature ourselves. This caused a small inconvenience during our stay.
The room was very comfortable and very spacious

Location and parking
The location was great. The room was a great size and the shower was amazing
The air con was on sporadically. Had to ring 3 times to get it kept on. Carpet in room was quite grubby. We'd had afternoon tea on arrival. View was lovely and that is the only positive thing I have to say. Wallpaper was beginning to come off the walls. Staff inattentive and sandwiches tasted like they'd been made hours before. Bread was beginning to harden....
The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre. The food was very tasty and well presented. The reception and bar staff were hospitable to the customers.
We had a few in our room, the first issue was a vent grill which was hanging off the wall. I reported it to reception and in fairness it was fixed quickly.
The room was very dusty some more attention to detail with cleaning.
The carpet was very stained and old and near the window there was mould growing on the carpet. There was also damp stains on the carpet near the window possibly from a leak. The skirting along the window was completely rotted and for a 4 star hotel you would expect better. We didn't bother asking for another room as the hotel was busy and we wouldn't be staying for long in the room.
It's a pity as the hotel was nice and the staff were friendly but the bedroom was a big letdown.
For us it was near all amenities. Enjoyed atmosphere in the bar which had live music. Rooms were spotless.
The bar was great and a pretty little live band. Bubbling clubs and bars around to have some pints and variety of foods. Good value for monsoon
