Love the central location. Atmosphere was cool and fun. Rooms are spacious and updated. It was a good price but there’s weird fees that are held along with deposit . I was charged for something I didn’t know about.
The hotel & amenities were nice and clean. The staff at checkout-in were pleasant. However, I was disappointed to find that there were no bath towels in the room. When I went to look for a telephone to call there was none in the room. It was inconvenient that we had to go to the concierge in person. Also, the resort fee was supposed to include valet parking. We checked in Saturday & left Monday morning. There was only valet parking service on Saturday.
We were also disappointed to see that the bar & restaurant were closed our entire stay. I think the pool bar was open on Saturday only. It’s a good thing the local eateries were walking distance but the hot weather made it unpleasant but we understand that is the climate in Palm Springs.
Lastly, the customer service at checkout was substandard. The female employee working on Sunday morning told my husband she is not a morning person & does not like talking to people when asked if she was bored. To me that was unacceptable customer service & did not thank is for our stay. Overall, our experience was not great. We will probably not come back & pay a little bit more to stay at another hotel.
With every visit to Palm Springs I always book at this hotel ever since it was Hard Rock. This time, there was a very odd smell throughout the whole floor. There was also something wrong with the coffee and pastry services in the morning- I had my elderly mom with me so I had to walk off hotel premises to get her some breakfast. I was also assured that we’d be given an accessible room but we were placed a little too far from the elevator and pool
Our room smelled horrible. The hallway smelled. Needs a deep cleaning. The pool area was not that many people yet we had to wait almost an hour for towels. The pool drink area was super slow service. I was not impressed with this hotel and would not stay here again.
Went for a weekend getaway and had such a fun time! Pool is great, the area the hotel is located is next to everything. Service was excellent and Valet for parking was fast.
Nice hotel.. very walkable to downtown amenities and restaurants.. spacious rooms
Great time! Friendly staff clean rooms great overall
Great vibe, clean rooms and bathrooms 👍👍
Great location. 1st floor where registration is was very clean and nice looking. Te whole place was empty, though, which I don't understand. No one was working at the bar. No one inside the lounge area. No one period on the 1st floor. Room was nice. Bathrooms were clean and nice. The parking lot was filthy.
This place is extremely CALM and SAFE. They go above and beyond for your comfort. Late check in was simple and they accommodated a late check out with ease. I would trust them to take care of my every need any time I’m in the area.
Splash house brought us here but good hotel to relax.
Michael at reception was helpful and gave good recommendations. Andie/andrew head of security very patient and helpful
The location was perfect, it was walking distance to everything. Staff and service were great !! Would definitely stay here again
We stayed at the Zoso for Splash House weekend 2. I called a couple days before to try and have our 4 rooms be near each other. Joseph was happy to help and made it possible. Once there we were greeted by the friendly valet and even recommended places near by to eat. At check in Aaminah was so welcoming and gave us all goodie bags she was very sweet and accommodating. My friends and I would definitely stay here again. They have comedy shows and bingo and have so many restaurants near by! Thank you to everyone at the Zoso!
We went on a Saturday for just a one-night getaway. The pool was too warm, it felt like bath water. The pool bar was only open from 2pm-4pm, and then they closed but said we could go inside to get drinks but that seemed super inconvenient. We decided to just get out of the pool and go to an early dinner downtown since the hotel has no food service whatsoever other than a convenience store with chips and other snacks. We came back to Zoso after dinner around 7pm so we could do the drag bingo at 8pm and then the comedy show afterwards that we were told about when we checked in. Shockingly, the hotel bar was already closed (so it was ultimately only open from 3-7pm) and I received a text from the hotel shortly after saying Bingo and comedy show were canceled. Rooms were old and musty, but the AC worked (unlike previous reviewed experiences from other guests) so we were relieved about that. All in all, there are definitely better hotels in Palm Springs but this will do if there is nothing else available, especially because the location is prime.
I don’t recommend this hotel when you are traveling for business
Very dark smell very hold, the bar was closed
Stayed on Sunday night (last night of Splash Party). Found the hotel quiet, a relaxing pool with plenty of pool chairs and cabanas. Cool and modern atmosphere and perfect location to PS, Joshua Tree and aerial tram. Room spacious and clean. Valet and reception exceptionally polite and friendly. Will stay again.
Good location. Hotel staff were great. Free valet parking was a plus (those guys worked so hard in the hot sun and barely anyone tipped them- don’t be cheap). Loved the salt water pool. Only qualm we had was that the AC system in the room did not work as needed. We had it set on the lowest temp but it would not drop below 77° which made sleeping a little uncomfortable. Would consider staying here again for the price if we can figure out the AC issue
