The staff was excellent!
It seemed they had their hands full and not enough staff for Sunday morning.
The bed was really hard and not what I expected for the price.
What a great experience and the environment was truly amazing!!!

Absolutely loved my first stay here—this place is a hidden gem! The hotel is incredibly cozy with beautifully updated rooms that capture a perfect Texas charm while still feeling elegant and upscale.
The breakfast at the restaurant was outstanding—those muffins alone are worth coming back for! Every detail of the experience felt thoughtful and welcoming.
What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. From check-in to check-out, the staff went above and beyond to make the stay seamless and enjoyable.
It has that perfect boutique feel that makes it unique and memorable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First night after two weeks in US that we had a good night of sleep. Room was spacious and beautiful! It smelled good every where and there were pics of animals 🥹

We have been wanting to star at the Barfield Hotel for a while. The hotel is lovely and so are the bars. So very disappointed with the Toscana Restaurant. My Brussels sprout Caesar had way too much salad dressing and the carbonara was the worst, tasted like across between cream and brown gravy. It was just dropped off at our table without being offered Parmesan cheese which may have improved the flavor. If you love carbonara like I do pass on the one at the Toscana restaurant. But do stay at the Barfield Hotel and enjoy the bars.

First time staying at the Barfield. Spent four nights on business in April. Room was impeccable. Had four incredible nights of sleep in a dark room at my preferred temperature, and a good bed. Fantastic large bathroom with a walk in shower.

This hotel is staffed with a fantastic team that understands customer service. Welcoming and friendly from arrival to departure. Great boutique style hotel in Amarillo City Center. Definitely plan to return.

Loved staying at this Pet friendly historic hotel as I passed through Amarillo! The rooms were exceptionally large and beautifully decorated! The staff was friendly and helpful and helpful! I highly recommend!

I’ve stayed here numerous times the shower heads need to be cleaned from hard water plus never a hot shower only warm water. The restaurant chief has changed last few months. I don’t think he is better than the last one judging from what I order go to another restaurant within walking distance. That all u can eat steak has better food that is a circus but I will go there instead. This is a nice place but no hot showers and quaintly of water is causing build up on the shower heads

What can I say but "Beware!". The hotel looks nice enough and the price is matching the looks. The rooms are not exactly cheap but they can do with some TLC. In the room I had the bathroom ceiling was in urgent need of repairs which you would not expect for that price.
Worse is their handling of WiFi. Where in most hotels WiFi is free nowadays they feel the need to charge you 10 USD per day for WiFi. You have to pay that but if you are a BonVoy member you can (afterwards!) ge6 it removed from your bill. At checkout I mentioned this since I am a BonVoy member and the lady said she would remove it from the bill. I did not get a new bill however and as far as I can see they charged me for it anyway. This kind of robbery is in my opinion not to be expected from a decent hotel!
I contacted them about it afterwards but after two messages they see to have chosen to ignore me!
