Small hotel in great location.
Pros:

Antonio on Reception was so welcoming and helpful. The bed and rooms were comfortable, with clean sheets and towels daily..
Great location. Beach 2 minutes walk. Plenty of shops and restaurants around and a bus that goes to Aegina Town.
No breakfast, but tea/coffee was provided in the lounge.
Good value for what we paid.

Per total a fost un sejur placut.
Pros:

Locatie excelent amplasata, personal foarte amabil, camera curata, vedere excelenta la mare. Prosoapele au fost schimbate zilnic.

Cons:

Nu am gasit in camera nici un pahar in care sa putem pune apa,, dar am cerut la receptie si ni s-a dat. A existat un numar de urgente pe care l-am apelat la plecare, dar nu a raspuns nimeni. Din pacate, se aude cel mai mic zgomot.

Μια πραγματικά όμορφη εμπειρία διαμονής! Ο χώρος είναι περιποιημένος, καθαρός και μέσα σε ένα πολύ όμορφο περιβάλλον που σε κάνει να χαλαρώνεις από την πρώτη στιγμή. Αυτό που ξεχωρίσαμε ιδιαίτερα ήταν η ζεστή φιλοξενία των ιδιοκτητών και η ευγένειά τους. Ειδικά η κυρία Αντωνία ήταν καταπληκτική! Η παραλία είναι πολύ κοντά και η πρόσβαση με τα πόδια είναι πολύ εύκολη. Στα 200 μέτρα ανοίγει μπροστά σου μία όμορφη εικόνα με μεγάλη αμμουδερή παραλία. Ένα μέρος που μας άφησε τις καλύτερες εντυπώσεις και θα χαρούμε πολύ να επισκεφθούμε ξανά.

Cons:

Μία μικρή ανακαίνιση του χώρου και του κτιρίου, θα έκανε το μέρος καλύτερο από ένα πολυτελές ξενοδοχείο.

Wonderful staff, terrific location, experience could be improved
Pros:

The location is terrific, literally just off the main road and close to all tavernas, shops, the beach and port. The two ladies at reception are really wonderful, super warm and welcoming. The room had a nice big fridge, and for a single person was fine in terms of size, some of the furniture and the main door to the room seems fairly new (the hotel, like many in Agia Marina, is quite old and from the 70/80s, which in many ways is quite charming).

The reception area is lovely and there’s a seating area outside plus a cool spot where they keep a (very shy) turtle. The rooms were cleaned daily and new towels and bath mats provided, also plenty of loo roll, which was great.

Cons:

Some aspects were less good (I stay in Agia Marina every year so easy to compare to local places). The Wi-Fi is very weak and drops out a lot. There’s no soundproofing so there’s sometimes - including during the night - noise from doors slamming, chairs being dragged along balconies, or the road/car park at the back of the building.

The hotel is compact and in an L shape, so through the balcony doors from my room I was in close view of everyone around me which wasn’t exactly relaxing, plus the curtains are transparent so I had to keep the large wooden shutters closed - even then the bright light got through in the mornings. The air con couldn’t be run while on the balcony as the external unit was at floor level and pumped out hot air all over the table and chairs, also it leaked onto the floor a little.

The bathrooms probably haven’t been refurbed since the 80s - a small old toilet squashed into the corner with an old-style cistern on the ceiling which leaks, a shower so small you have to have the shower curtain open meaning the floor gets quite wet, and you can’t close the door unless you step into the shower.

Free tea and coffee is provided each morning which is a lovely touch, but the filter coffee is more like brown water, barely any taste. Finally I asked for a double room but was given a twin with the beds pushed together and a soft mattress topper placed over them, which I removed on my final night as it was hurting my posture/back.

Overall this would be fine for a very short stay and when I booked it was fairly cheap, but there are other cheaper hotels in Agia Marina with much better facilities, and many also offer free breakfast, so I wouldn’t return but wish them all the best with many thanks :)

Camera cu vedere si la mare si la munte de dimineata te bucurai de rasarit seara de apus deasupra muntelui. Personalul foarte amabil. Cearceafuri si prosoape impecabile.
