Just the location
For the price of the room for one night there with nothing extra....no complimentary breakfast, no microwave in the room, staff was not accessible when we came in around midnight for a soda, still had to pay for parking and again nothing spectacular or amazing about the room. Ive actually seen better for less. The ac still doesn't work in the reception area .
Location to everything was great! The staff was VERY friendly! Everyone I encountered was pleasant and helpful! 10/10 on the staff!
No fridge or ice one the floor. My bed creeked really bad with every move. I understand its one of the oldest hotels and I appreciate it's charm. But maybe new bed frames are needed.

Everything was great
It’s pretty close to the Bank of America stadium. The lobby is very beautiful. The bathroom soap/shampoo were very nice.
It was wildly expensive. The bathroom is very small; the tub did not drain well, the room layout was a bit odd: there was a sofa but you could not watch tv from it. There was no available plug for Keurig. The valet parking was very unorganized unnecessarily.

Hotel was beautiful and well located for what we had planned. Staff was very friendly and check on was a breeze.
Parking could have been clearer. I was going to use valet but the location for that was odd. Ended up self parking, which was fine.
The shower in the room sprayed, soaking the floor. Had to put an extra towel down between the toilet and the shower. Shower was very slow to drain.
This is a comfortable, well appointed hotel with an above average restaurant. Be aware that if your stay is anytime Thursday through Saturday nights there will likely be constant street noise (people partying and vehicles sporting loud exhaust pipes). I will only return outside of a weekend and for a room off the street. This is not unique to this location but apparently most of downtown Charlotte.
