A wonderful hotel - like staying inside an art gallery and a great breakfast & a great location.
Pros:

The breakfast choices were perfect for us.
The location was wonderful.
We loved the decor of the hotel - it was so beautiful and interesting. It felt cozy.
We would definitely stay here again if we get to return.
No matter the time of day or night, the staff were all warm and helpful.
I would book earlier next time and get a larger room, but that was my error. We still really liked our room, and it had a nice bathroom with it.

We happened to list one very unique umbrella which we have solely been using it during travels since 2004. We left it on the desk after having used it in a very rainy day on 22nd July 2026. We did not bring it outdoor with us given the weather was great on 23rd July 2026. We could not find it throughout the room we stayed on 24th July, the day we needed to checked out to board the cruise leaving for Tallin of Estonia. The only time this umbrella could have been lost would be 23rd July. Given we deliberately left it on the desk inside the guest room as umbrellas were not needed on thus 23rd July; and only person who could have gained access to our room during the time we left to go outside would be the person responsible fir the cleaning up of the room.

Cons:

We liked the property but had been put off by losing a very unique umbrella ( Dior brand, designer umbrella ) which we left inside the room given the day ( 23rd July was sunny and fine); we had used it the day before and specially dried it and placing it in the desk before we left to go outside. This has been very disappointing !

Zentrale Lage in der Altstadt. Freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Das Hotel ist stilvoll eingerichtet mit vielen Antiquitäten.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist gut. Einziger Abstrich: der Cappuccino wird zusätzlich verrechnet.

Very nice option for staying in Stockholm’s old town.
Pros:

It’s centrally located in Stockholm’s old town. It’s a bit more of a budget choice than its sister hotel The Victory, but staff are great and it’s clean. The restaurant served good Swedish meatballs and has a very pleasant seating area.

Cons:

Our room lacked AC, which would have been welcome during a hot spell.
