If you want to stay close to Lugano, not in it,this is a good option.
Pros:

The room was beautiful with lakeside view, it was quite impressive, the breakfast was amazing, exquisite, lots of variations for every taste.

Cons:

It was actually a bit far from Lugano, it’s in Paradiso and while booking, we didn’t realize Lugano consisted of different small municipalities. So Paradiso is one of them, the train station and bus station are pretty close to the hotel, so we were taking a bus on daily basis.

Pros:

Staff was lovely but they did not explain the easiet way to get to and from the city centre. They should explain about the TICINO pass.
Breakfast was great.

Cons:

The lovely lounge was for smokers. It is a cigar lounge which is not welcoming for everyone.

Confortable, mais vieillissant, attention à mettre le service avant le profit.
Pros:

La chambre était grande et confortable, la vie est magnifique.

Cons:

Les chambres sont un peu vieillissantes, odeur douteuse sur le canapé de la chambre. Les couettes sont toutes petites
Le petit déjeuner mériterait d’être artisanal et moins industriel. Le serveur ne nous a jamais amené notre café.

Dommage que des linges ne soient pas mis à disposition à la piscine et au spa

Tolle Aussicht und freundliche Mitarbeiter…….
Pros:

Das Hotel hatten wir als 6 köpfige Familie vor 30 Jahren für 2 Wochen gebucht und wir waren begeistert.
Inzwischen sind wir zu zweit einige Male für Kurzaufenthalte gekommen.
Leider sieht man dem Hotel seine Jahre immer mehr an und das ist sehr schade.
Das Upgrade diesmal, für uns Grosseltern mit einem unserer Enkelkinder war super, vielen Dank!
Nur freundliche Mitarbeiter , sehr gutes Frühstück und Alles sehr, sehr sauber.
Die Aussicht ist einfach unbeschreiblich!

Cons:

Die quietschenden Türen und die grossen von Hand betriebenen Storen…..
An einem Tag gab es nur kaltes Wasser, dafür am nächsten Tag nur heisses.
