Pros:

The breakfast was probably the weakest breakfast I’ve ever eaten at a hotel. There was no AC in the foyer where the breakfast area is. Parking lot was very small. No hair dryer in the bathroom. Best thing was bed was comfortable and AC in bedroom was very quiet.

DON’T GO THERE, HORRIBLE
Pros:

This was my first stay at a Super 8, and it will definitely be my last. The room was absolutely disgusting.

The bathroom was filthy. The shower and bathtub grout were covered in mold, and there was even what appeared to be mold/fungus on the ceiling. There were hairs and body hair everywhere. The curtains were heavily stained and looked like they even had what appeared to be blood stains on them. The curtain rail and the area around it were completely covered in dust.

The entire room smelled strongly of dirty, damp humidity.

I lifted the mattress to check underneath the bed, and I found an old towel, candy wrappers, and, unbelievably, what appeared to be a crack pipe.

The microwave was absolutely filthy as well.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I didn’t even feel comfortable sleeping in the room. I asked for a refund and left to stay at a Marriott instead.

This was easily one of the dirtiest hotel rooms I’ve ever seen. Completely unacceptable.

Won’t go again, but served its purpose.
Pros:

It was close to where we had to go. The front desk person was very nice.

Cons:

The doors weren’t locked. The air conditioning was broke in the lobby. It was hot. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls. We had used old soap in the shower on the top ledge. I pulled out a towel to take a shower and it was dirty. For the coat, I should’ve cancelled and went next door.

It was good enough for our needs
Pros:

Easy check in and out. Close to Hershey. We slept great and it was quiet. The price was right for us as we just needed a place to sleep after a concert and get ready in the morning.

Cons:

Ice machine wasn’t working and hair in the tub

Would not stay again based on cleanliness.. it's a shame because the people were so nice.
Pros:

Location was great. Staff was amazing.

Cons:

The cleanliness was bad. Cobwebs with spider in the room. Dirty window sill. Dirty air conditioner. Fridge not wiped off. Disgusting blanket on bed. Hair on toilet and hole behind bathroom door. Bathroom poorly lit.

It's a nice place to stay with reasonable cost
Pros:

Iam often in Hershey for medical appointments. Over the past 6 years we've stayed at many hotels. I've stayed at this hotel 5 times now over past 2 years. We stay here or there is one other hotel now depending on availability.
Staff are super friendly. The area is nice and quiet. Distance to things is reasonable, it's a nice country environment. Housekeeping could be a little more detailed but it's not bad.
For the cost it's a very nice place to stay. We were here 3 days this visit.

Will not return to this Super 8.
Pros:

Location and easy access to 81

Cons:

No AC in the lobby. We had room 203. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off and exposed black mold under it. We stayed for 2 nights and had no housekeeping services provided to us. When we left in the morning we asked the front desk to please take fresh towels to our room and remove the used ones on the floor. They did NOT need to make the bed. We were gone for 12 hours and when we came back at 2 a.m. the dirty towels were still on the floor and we had no clean ones. We got up this morning and left without a shower. Since we are only an hour from home we let it go. When we went to check out there was no one at the desk to speak with.

OVERALL GRADE: C+

While the hotel received good marks for the main things, the air conditioning unit was NOT working. It was a hot couple of days with no air. The toilet was also loose and needed to be tightened or replaced. This hotel is in a resort area with Hersheypark and the town of Hershey nearby. These things should have been fixed prior to anyone staying in the room.

Satisfied with my booking and the stay was pleasant and enjoyable
Pros:

Breakfast was okay, location was great for visiting Hershey Park also food and convenience store walking distance and price was great staff super friendly mini fridge and microwave definitely a plus

Cons:

The room could have been cleaned a little better toiletre items could have been more generous and the TV service was very limited also The Air conditioner could be turned on prior to arrival beings it was the hottest couple days of the year
