Nice hotel in great location.
Pros:

The room was very big and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The location was great for trams and trains.

Cons:

It would have been good to have more than two teabags, and decaf would have been even better,

Great location, comfy room with air condition
Pros:

Location was superb, walkable to the main shopping area ie The Moor. Many cafes nearby, with Tesco Express also within walking distance.

Cons:

The room was great wirh air condition. However , there was no mini fridge in room.

Avoid
Pros:

Have stayed several times before in the past year. Very central Sheffield location. Discounted overnight parking a few mins walk away at the Arundel Gate car park.

Cons:

Avoid! Remembering that the mid-week overnight stay cost us £199 for the room for the night. We checked in and had a shower...the shower flooded the bathroom. Reception moved us to a different room on the same floor. Went to bed and woke at 2am with the room being very hot, over 24c. The aircon did not work in the room and wouldn't allow us to alter the temp.. Neither did several light bulbs in the lamps and an empty shower gel. Reception could only give us the key to the previous room to sleep. Went back to that room to continue sleep from 2am-7am and then back into the second room we'd been allocated to shower before leaving. A real shame as we visit Sheffield often to visit family and will not be staying here again.

The voco hotel has a very good features , it's a very good location it's near winter garden, many shops and restaurants around the hotel , also train station only 5 minutes away.
