Lovely hotel.
The staff were very helpful and professional.
Sayid was an incredible host nothing was too much trouble.
Location and staff - all super friendly and helpful especially the bar staff. I had a lovely meal in the restaurant.
I had booked a premium room with one room but my first room was a twin and definitely not premium on the fourth floor - thankfully I complained but had to come down to do so as no one answered the phone - my new room was really lovely - had I not changed rooms I would not have chosen the Vocco again for future stays. The pool and changing rooms are very dated - although the steam room was good. Breakfast looked a bit sad - limited choice and not very inviting - so I didn’t bother with it and went out instead.
Fantastic staff, lovely hotel & room, perfect location
I’ve stayed here before on a couple of occasions and always loved it for its location, cleanliness and overall service
I can’t fault
close to train station
close to parks and the hotel itself has it own Like Kee Garden
the beds are soft its because i liked firm bed
although it depends on every ones preference
Ghe Duvet is a bit noisy
Over all spacious room very clean and tidy
The bed was a dream and so was the duvet. Slept really well.
1. Can't understand why the disabled rooms are so far from the lift. I walk with a stick and I was out of breath by the time I reached my room. 2. The chairs are uncomfortable. You would expect being in a disabled room they would be a bit bigger. 3. The hotel was changing owners when I arrived. One morning there was a banging on my door. Workmen were changing the numbers on the door. They didn't even knock first to see if the room was occupied. Scared the hell out of me before I opened the door. 4. There are no instructions on how to work the Heating/ air con, television. You would think that every room would have an instructions booklet.
Location was good, bed was comfy, bathroom had separate bath and shower, large swimming pool, fridge in room.
WiFi signal was very poor in the room, as well as my phone signal (not hotel fault), which meant that I basically had no internet access in my room.
Staff at check-in was a bit difficult. They couldn’t find my booking, apparently my first name was filled in was my last name. They didn’t ask or mention anything about the leisure facilities e.g. where they were, opening/closing times, or the fact they existed at all. They also didn’t mention the WiFi.
Two small things. One of the walls in the room was very worn with a large mark over it. I would’ve thought they could paint over it or add a painting or furnishing over it so that it was obscured. The room came with some nespresso pods which was nice, but I would have liked a small label/menu so I knew what the pods were e.g. decaf.
Bed was comfy
Internet didn’t work,
no fridge,
air con had to be repaired,
standard of service has fallen
No telephone to contact front desk or through tv
Excellent location, facilites, services and staff
Olive oil was not available in the breakfast!!
Staff were friendly and very helpful location very good.
Breakfast was all over cooked. Air-conditioning wasn't that good.
Location, facilities, child-friendly
Nothing
I liked it's location, everything so handy. The staff were very nice, kind and helpful.
The only thing I didn't like is if you don't go early for the breakfast, then you will miss most of the menus. They don't refill.
Fijn locatie midden in de stad - dichtbij alle voorzieningen en het station. Ruime kamer met een zitje - heel comfortabel.
niks
Location was in a lovely part of the city, very quiet and close to everything needed.
The room was spacious and had every amenity one needed, the bed was big a cosy.
Breakfast was nice.
The breakfast items would run low/out, maybe restock a little more frequently.
Everything
The sliding door to the wet room which we reported as being v hard to move
