We loved the hospitality of everyone at the Conrad.
There was nothing.
Very clean and comfortable
Quite loud. It sounded like someone was entering my room when ever people went in or out of neighboring rooms. I could hear the elevator from my room. Even though I was on the 18th floor, I could hear all the street noises.
Great hotel to visit the Gainbridge Fieldhouse!
I would stay at this Conrad hotel just to stay at the hotel as a hotel vacation. Everyone who works here is so friendly and professional. They quickly handled our luggage (to include 2 bicycles) - and our car. We received a Diamond upgrade to a corner suite and it was lovely. The suite was spacious and spotless. The bed was super comfortable and it was fun to come back to our room and see turn down service after our dinner at the adjacent Capital Grille. I thought the cards they left highlighting nearby bars and their histories was a fun touch. We used our Hilton Honors credit for room service breakfast and Kristen delivered it quickly and even confirmed the coffee was decaf before I could ask. The hotel has a great fitness center with a working peloton and they replenish towels and water frequently (I watched them check on the fitness center twice during my workout). The pool is just long enough that laps are possible. Parking is $80 a night but the valet service is quick. The shower had great water pressure but was on the small side so that they could include a separate tub.
The hotel is ok. The TV in the room is old and does not have the smart TV functions like Netflix and YouTube sign in. They give you a food and beverage credit but you can’t use it other than breakfast… and breakfast is a limited selection of sandwiches they just microwave. Overall disappointing from what is supposed to be Hiltons high end brand. Outdated and overpriced.
Staff and quality
Nothing
Everything was great and the staff was excellent made our stay very enjoyable!
Nothing
I struggled with this review and ulitmately decided on 4 stars instead of 5. The big issue is that for the pricepoint, the rooms are very outdated. Not even one USB port by the beds.
Pros:
- great, central location
- wonderful staff - in particular the valet team
- immaculate - everything is cleaned and well-maintained
- large rooms with a large desk area and couch
- separate walk-in shower (you don't need to climb into a tub to take a shower) plus a separate soaking tub - huge towels (and enough of them in the room)
- comfortable bed and linens
- free water bottles in the lobby available for guests
Cons:
- dated decor and design everywhere - as mentioned, no USB ports bedside
- small television (yes I know that I am not here to watch TV but it's tough to sit on the in-room couch and see the small TV in the opposite corner of the room)
- I would expect a nice, clubby bar open until midnight or so but they are directly attached to the Capital Grill bar that closes at 9PM weekdays, 10PM on weekends.
- Pricey valet parking at $79/night
Every thing. Comfortable beautiful
I would have liked a free or cheap parking lot. Valet is expensive
Location
Towels were rough in bathroom and no vent fan
Our experience had amazing service and beautiful accommodation. We loved the spa that came with a complimentary steam room and sauna!
The staff, pool and hot tub were great. The location was good, could walk to just about anywhere we wanted to go.
The carpet was stained; the bed clothing was ripped and stained, the chair was ripped and stained. At night while trying to sleep could hear people outside and vehicles going by. Beds were not very comfortable.
I made a really dumb mistake when I made our reservations here that could have been very costly. They discovered the error and fixed it for me without my even having to ask for a resolution. Top notch service. Shout out to Mary Beth for her customer service.
Also, rooms are very comfortable and clean. Room service is tasty. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
