Great location to enjoy a nice weekend in San Antonio . Bars nearby , pool was great, small gym to workout . Restaurant
Pros:

Beautiful property , great pool, bar and restaurant at the hotel were great. Everything is walking distance. Check out the museum next door. Found a spot to watch games called the friendly spot just walking distance from hotel as well.

Cons:

Maybe the homeless around the area , but the hotel is not to blame for that.

Amazing experience!!!
Pros:

Love the atmosphere and how peaceful the restaurant was!! Service was fast, quality, and extremely kind and outgoing! Francisco was the best waiter I have had in a long time and definitely made my meal memorable and entertaining! I am not from San Antonio but if I know anyone visiting I will definitely tell them to stop by the Ambler! The restaurant is clean, calm, and very well priced!

Good food, great service
Pros:

The atmosphere was incredible. Our waiter, Francisco, was one of the nicest people I’ve met here in San Antonio. I would recommend coming based on his vibes alone! Definitely worth the stop in.

Pros:

I love how it was on the Riverwalk. They had a restaurant at the bottom and it face the Riverwalk.

Cons:

Parking was $60 a night. That was the only thing I have to say but property was great.

Pleasurable experience
Pros:

The location is great and the service is always on point. We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always been an enjoyable experience. The bellman “fast Eddie” is truly the fastest and the staff has a very friendly and helpful.

FUN short getaway with my Cousin!
Pros:

On the Riverwalk! All the Fun & Entertainment just outside! The Deluxe Suite was a great open space to Relax in. The Bar & Restaurant Area. “Barbara” the waitress in the Bar was Very friendly!

Pros:

The location to the convention center was good

Cons:

The safe was broken and the van fixed it but then the next morning the safety didn’t work
We got in late and there was no cleaning for four days of our room. We just had to grab towels when we could.
