Pros:

Tellement décevant, personnel désagréable (Kessidy), cartes qui se démagnétisées tout le temps, bruit de perceuses et réveil des 9h du matin tous les jours, ce n’est sans parler les coupures d’eau pendant 2 jours lors de notre séjour sans compensation ou apport d’eau supplémentaire malgré nos demandes, hôtel fonctionnant très lentement : plus de 30 minutes à chaque fois à attendre la facture du séjour … ce n’est pas vraiment ce que l’on attend d’un 5 étoiles … sans compter les multiples fois où on nous a demandé à la piscine si nous étions bien de l’hôtel …

Des français peuvent bien se payer ce genre d’hôtel oui mais si c’était à refaire je mettrai mon argent ailleurs !

We had pre asked for change from twin to double bed. We were told they’d push the beds together. The receptionist said there were no more rooms as we aid we’d pay for a better room. The rooms were dark and not comfortable to stay. We checked out and went elsewhere the different receptionist was very nice and tried hard to change our minds and said would find a better room. But we’d checked into the intercontinental by then. We appreciated the 2 staff when we left trying their best.

However, this particular trip to Malta was deeply important to me, as we were celebrating two major milestones: my wife’s birthday and our honeymoon. While the whole staff was great, Oumaima at the reception desk was in a league of her own.

Le personnel était très sympathique, l'hôtel était bien situé et propre. Les chambres étaient bien équipées, propres et au calme.

Cons:

Le rapport qualité/prix. Pour un hôtel 5 étoiles les services, le buffet petit déjeuner, les chambres et le séjour dans sa globalité ne valent pas le prix. On s'attendait, pour le prix payé, à quelque chose de haute qualité.

Great hotel and great sea views but St George’s Bay Area is a bit tacky.
Pros:

Great accommodation, wonderful staff.

Cons:

Huge amount of construction going on next to the hotel and across the bay. As a result very noisy.
Also St George’s Bay Area not the nicest. The bay on the south side of St Julian’s is much more up market.
