Cons:

I was unable to stay due to then having a power outage yet them nor booking.com would give me a refund for the fact that it was not due to anything on my half on why I couldn't stay and ended up spending another hour trying to find another hotel.. They say it was up to booking.com to do a refund and booking.com says it was the hotel. So now I was out over $106.00 for this booking plus the cost of having to find another hotel and paid more for another hotel. I should NOT of been charged since it was no my doing that I was unable to stay at this hotel. I will never go through either of them again do to them being crooks for changing me for a room I was unable to stay at because they had no power at the hotel.

Never again will I stay if I have to return there
Pros:

It was awful and all cold at 605am when I got down there to eat.

Cons:

The staff was rude from check in to check out the person told me last night I would have my deposit today and that did not happen. There was mold in the bathroom on the shower walls I have pictures of it.

Repairs Needed
Pros:

Staff members were friendly, and the room was fairly clean.

Cons:

The room smelled strongly of mildew and the shower was in need of much repair. There was nothing in the breakfast area that I was able to eat, and I would have appreciated tea. (Not everyone drinks coffee.)

Pros:

We did not stay, it was bad

Cons:

The smell of sewage in the hallway, the darkness of the rooms and hallways. When you ran water in the sink, it backed up in the tub. The walls had holes in them and the carpet and furniture had stains.

Horribly dirty rooms, unclean and unsanitary, poor property management and unsafe environment
Pros:

Nothing. Did not even stay the night due to how bad the conditions were.

Cons:

Unclean rooms, beds had hair and debris all over the sheets, clearly not washed after previous guest, bathroom was not cleaned and no bath towels in bathroom upon check in. The bathroom counter was sticky/not cleaned, shower would not drain, and when offered an alternative room, those beds were also dirty. I did not feel comfortable staying in such an unhygienic and unsanitary environment, kindly told the front desk we would not be staying and would like a refund. Front desk worker said they contacted their manager to discuss refund but it was ultimately not approved through booking.com because, per the front desk worker, “I had already checked in,” even with photo evidence of dirty sheets and that desk worker’s own recognition that housekeeping did not clean the rooms appropriately. Horrible management of facilities, a complete dump, and unfortunately unsanitary to the point of being a health concern. I would highly recommend NOT staying here, absolutely disgusting and overall a very frustrating experience.

Very disappointing! I’ll take my business elsewhere next time!
Pros:

It’s in close proximity to KU Medical Center which was great for appointments. The ladies at the desk were great!!!

Cons:

The first room had a mold issue on the bathroom floor. It had a roll in shower. Stagnant water was visibly standing in the drain about 1” down. The metal barrier to keep stuff out of the drain had been opened and peeled back. I could see myself stepping on it in the night. One light fixture attached to wall by the bed was a fire hazard. You could barely touch it and it would fall hanging by the internal wiring. So, the lady moved us. Better and cleaner room. I woke at 5 am. Wanted my morning cup of hot tea. I brought my mug and tea. Put water in cup to heat in microwave. No microwave in room, even though there was supposed to be. I was ticked but thought okay just heat water in the coffee pot. No lid! Water spit out of the top all over the bathroom counter and would not go down into my cup. Okay so no hot tea. I tried to get ready for the day. I needed the hair dryer to curl my bangs. Guess what!?? Hairdryer doesn’t work! At that point I was done. Breakfast was being served by then. I finally got that cup of hot tea. After the appointment was done at the hospital we checked out instead of staying the second night as planned.
