Fabulous!
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel with all kinds of cozy hang out features and great food. The staff is incredilbly kind and helpful! I would definitely stay here again. :)

Ask a few questions before staying here
Pros:

Generally love this place. However, rented several rooms for a family wedding in 2024 and husband and I came for a weekend in 2026. Both visits, the elevators were out out of order and not disclosed prior to our visit. Very unfortunate for my elderly father who was suffering from colon cancer in 2024. Arrived today in 2026, no microwave in the room and the elevator is once again broken. Front desk says parts are on order, but that doesn’t help my husband who has some mobility issues. So frustrated as we love this place. From now on, I will ask in advance if the elevators are operable before checking in and make a backup plan to stay elsewhere. Also, at 9 o’clock, we tried to go downstairs for a cocktail, and the bar was closed.

Great Experience!
Pros:

SCP Redmond provides great service from friendly and welcoming staff. We held a baby shower for our daughter here and no detail was left undone. The food at Terra Kitchen, the hotel’s restaurant, is fantastic, as is the vibe at the Wayfarer pub in the lobby and the fun rooftop setting for a nightcap. Breakfast in the sunny breakfast room from their assortment of made to order breakfast sandwiches and smoothies is a treat. Our room, a Delux king, was spacious and the bed was a cozy dream. This is my new home-away-from-home when I come to visit my daughter and her husband and my first grandchild. Happy times at the SCP Redmond. 😊

Pros:

Pros:

Hotel with character: SCP Redmond is a restored 1928 boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Redmond.
Close to Smith Rock State Park.
Free coffee all day.
Rooftop with nice views.
Friendly staff.

Cons:

We had a room for 5 persons. This was too small to be comfortable.
The rooms have style, but are also outdated.

Boutique Historical Hotel which needs a bit of work.
Pros:

The Redmond is a resurrected historic hotel which while successful in presenting an updated design esthetic in common areas was disappointing in providing amenities and comfort in-room and site-adjacent for our stay.

Great atmosphere, but the noise and AC issues significantly detracted from the experience!
Pros:

The location is convenient and makes it easy to explore the surrounding area. I appreciate the hotel's concept. Their focus on sustainability, recycling, and reducing waste. It is refreshing to stay at a property that genuinely tries to have a positive environmental impact.The décor and overall design shows a warm, stylish, and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of character. it is much more personal than a typical chain hotel.

Cons:

The air conditioning blows directly onto the bed and is very noisy, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The windows cannot be opened, so there is no way to get fresh air or reduce reliance on the AC.
The sound insulation is extremely poor. Noise from neighboring rooms and the corridor could be heard as if it were inside our room, which significantly affected our comfort and rest.

Must stay place in Redmond.
Pros:

Overall, this place is great. Very friendly staff. They have done a good job thinking of the little things.

Cons:

They did not communicate that there would be a charge for an early check it. I ended up not needing it and they removed the charge.
