The Westin Josun Busan

We recently stayed at The Westin Josun Busan and had a generally positive experience.

The hotel's location is one of its biggest strengths. It is situated right by Haeundae Beach and offers beautiful ocean views, with easy access to the waterfront and surrounding area. The property itself is attractive and well-maintained, and the amenities were a nice part of the stay.

The service was consistently excellent. Vanessa and Jiwoong at the front desk, Paul the Duty Manager, Jay Choi and Hyemin in the lounge, and Johee from the concierge team all provided friendly, professional service and were always willing to assist.

That said, our stay was not without issues. Upon arrival, we found bugs in our first room and requested to be moved. After changing rooms, we noticed hairs in the bathtub and on some of the towels. While these housekeeping concerns were disappointing, the staff handled the situation professionally, apologized sincerely, and worked to address the issues as quickly as possible.

The executive lounge was decent, though it was often very crowded and could feel somewhat chaotic during peak periods.

The rooms themselves were comfortable but quite small, particularly the bathrooms. By today's standards, the bathroom felt unusually compact—more reminiscent of a cruise ship cabin than a luxury hotel. Guests accustomed to newer luxury properties may find the room size somewhat limiting.

Overall, The Westin Josun Busan offers a great location, beautiful views, and excellent staff. While the housekeeping issues and smaller room size prevented this from being a standout stay for us, the service team did an admirable job responding to concerns, and we still enjoyed our time at the property.

A fantastic hotel in an excellent location. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the Club Lounge serves outstanding food and drinks. As a Marriott Ambassador member, I stay here twice a year for about two weeks at a time, and every visit has been consistently excellent.

The gym and sauna are also top-notch and among the best I’ve experienced.

A special shout-out to Harley Pyo, the Duty Manager and cocktail master in the Club Lounge. He consistently provides exceptional service, makes every guest feel welcome, and crafts outstanding cocktails. He is a true asset to the hotel and one of the reasons I always look forward to returning.

Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Westin Josun Busan! The level of service here is truly outstanding, especially at the Club Lounge.

We want to give a special shout-out to the Duty Manager, **JinBae (Harley)**. He welcomed us with incredible warmth and hospitality, and even personally crafted delicious cocktails for us, making our evening so memorable.

As vegetarians, we sometimes struggle with food options, but Harley went above and beyond to specially prepare vegetarian dishes for us during Happy Hour. We were deeply touched by his thoughtfulness and attentiveness.

Thank you, Harley, and the team for such a delightful experience. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return!

Location and food in first floor dining, second floor food was so so

The location of this hotel on the ocean cannot be beat. We had an excellent three nights here. The staff was outstanding and the hotel breakfast was extensive and delish!! In particular, Harley Pyo and Jihee Choi were wonderful with reservations at restaurants and recommendations for sites....outstandingly helpful. There’s also a beautiful path behind the hotel along the ocean that is absolutely amazing.

Our family had an outstanding stay at the Westin Josun Busan last week. This was our first trip to Busan. This hotel is right on Haeundae Beach one of the best beaches in Busan. The brunch buffet is truly excellent, with a vast array of options including a design your own noodle bowl and design your own omelet, plus many Western and Eastern selections and wonderful fresh fruit and pastries. The Westin Club lounge has extensive offerings throughout the day. Service was impeccable- without our even asking, the hotel sent up an extra bathrobe and slippers for our adult daughter right after we checked in. The room was amazing- a family style room with a double bed and a twin bed, but it had TWO bathrooms which was a delightful surprise! We will absolutely stay here again!
