perfecto y con una vista inigualable
Pros:

El hotel es muy bonito y con unas vistas estupendas de Funchal.
El personal es lo mejor , son todos muy amables y atentos
Es magnífico disfrutar de la piscina también ...fue perfecto

Cons:

el hotel es como de ambiente colonial y aunque está muy bien, es verdad que habría que mejorar los baños ,,,ya se están quedando viejitos

Lo que más me gustó sin duda fueron las vistas y la terraza que teníamos

No me gustó que el baño era muy antiguo y apenas tenía luz brillante, y me cambiaron las sábanas y me las pusieron sucias

Pazar kilátás a városba a hotel teraszáról

Jó elhelyezkedés. Mimi macska, a ház úrnője. A kilátás a városra csodálatos volt.

Cons:

Vékonyak a falak, így minden egyes mozdulatot lehetett hallani ami a hotelban történt.

Pros:

El alojamiento es lo que ves. Es un hotel antiguo pero con encanto y tiene mucha historia interesante. El desayuno es sencillo, de auto servicio, pero está muy bien (incluye dulce, salado...) y puedes tomarlo en la terraza. Está bastante céntrico (a 10 minutos del "centro turístico") pero tiene una cuesta que se hace dura al final. Las vistas son impresionantes y la piscina también tiene vistas y casi nunca hay nadie. Te dan toallas para la piscina. Las del baño te las cambian siempre que quieras. Los pasillos tienen fotos y mobiliario antiguo muy curioso.

Cons:

El baño huele mucho a baño y es un poco antiguo. La ducha no tiene mucha presión. El suelo, de madera, cruje mucho.

The best hotel service I’ve had
Pros:

We had such an unforgettable stay it feels like being in 2000s movie! The hotel staff in particular is spectacular, especially the evening people are so unbelievably professional, helpful and kind and made our stay very special. Our room was very very spacious with a breathtaking view. The hotel is close to town center and there are underground 24h parkings nearby. The restaurant is great, the cafe/bar overlooking the town is out of the movies. The rooftop view is working until 8pm and the water is warm. Reception works 24/7 and they are always happy to help. They have brochures with organised day trips. The breakfast is nice, it has the basics (8-10am). We are looking forward to coming again.

Cons:

We had a dead cockroach in the room. The sound proofing wasn’t the best we could hear very easily everything. The place has a lot wear-and-tear but that gives it its charm.

Pros:

This was a very quirky hotel with excellent staff, especially Islam who looked after us very well. The rooms were old but spotlessly clean with crisp clean white sheets on a very comfortable bed and fresh towels. We had a sea view room and you could look out at the lights of Funchal city in the evenings from our balcony. The breakfast was simple and delicious, a selection of 3 cereals, scrambled egg, toast, fresh rolls, croissants, jam, coffee and lemon cake. We loved the walk back to the hotel up the steep hill at the end of every day. This was our exercise for the day!

Cons:

The hotel could do with a little TLC and there are no sun beds by the pool but the pool is spotless and clean

Des regrets d’avoir choisi cet hotel 🙁🙁
Pros:

Le personnel était très sympa 😊 sauf le préposé au petit déjeuner 🙁🙁
L’emplacement est très bien, à un quart d’heure du port à pied !
La literie était très bien 👍

Cons:

Le stationnement est galère, seulement 3, voire 4 places dans l’hôtel ! Autour de l’hôtel, c’était très compliqué aussi, tout en pente, et payant à certains endroits.
L’hôtel est magnifique d’extérieur ! Mais à l’intérieur, il est très vétuste !
La chambre est correcte, les meubles datent des années 60. Les rideaux sont déchirés et laissent passer la lumière !
Le pire, la salle de bain, la robinetterie date aussi d’un autre temps, des odeurs d’égouts tous les matins ! Pas de pression pour prendre sa douche 🙁🙁
J’ai été très déçu de l’hôtel, 964 euros pour 10 jours avec petit déjeuner (une mascarade, pas grand chose, toujours pareil, le café à la machine, enfin nul )
Dommage parce que Funchal est très agréable, fleuri et propre !

Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding voor een verblijf in Funchal.
Pros:

We hadden een nette kamer, prachtig uitzicht over Funchal. Loopafstand 10-15 minuten naar het oude centrum, terug van naar het hotel is het 70 meter omhoog (voor ons geen probleem). Personeel zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

Cons:

Ontbijt was matig weinig keus. Parkeren is ook wat lastiger in de wijk.

Ich habe diese Ferienwoche sehr genossen. Beim mehreren Fragen oder Anliegen habe ich Hilfe bekommen
Pros:

Das Zimmer war wunderbar. Es war sehr ruhig. Der Balkon hat mich sehr gefreut. Das Schwimmbad war sehr gut - ich bin jeden Tag schwimmen gegangen.
Die Lage des Hotels ist phänomenal: Von der Terasse vor dem Eingang konnte ich bereits beim Frühstück die wunderbare Aussicht auf Funchal und das Meer geniessen.

Cons:

Im Kasten im Zimmer wäre ein oder zwei zusätzliche Tablare wünschenswert gewesen.
Das Frühstück hätte noch etwas umfangreicher sein können (Früchte, Gemüse, Käse etc.).

Du cachet, confortable et pratique
Pros:

Un hôtel historique dominant Funchal, mais à seulement 15mn à pied de la Marina et 10 mn des premiers restos et magasins. Beaucoup de charme, ma chambre était très spacieuse avec une grande salle de bain lumineuse et un lit confortable. J'avais la chambre vue sur mer avec un balcon-terrasse donnant sur la ville, l'Atlantique et la piscine juste en dessous. Juste parfait ! Le personnel était au top , merci Islam et Heary pour votre gentillesse et professionnalisme ! Le rapport qualité-prix est au rendez-vous. Et merci mimi, pour ta présence ronronnante.
