Lovely historic hotel in great location. NO air conditioning! But they provided a fan during the unusual August heat wave. Room and bathroom were small, but typical for European standards. Bed and linens were quite nice.
Desk staff were friendly and helpful. And the bar (which opens ~ 5 or 6 pm) offered CUSTOM craft cocktails.
The breakfast buffet was good, not great. The wait staff were pleasant. The coffee was not so good.
But the location is fantastic for hitting all the tourists spots, good restaurants, etc. Overall, really happy here and would return.

Although aircon installed it’s not operative. It was mentioned before arrival that no aircon installed to keep the original flair…??? And despite 3 reminders and promises of fixes for issues with the bathroom light it was not fixed…
This is a beautiful historical hotel in a central area of Luxemburg city. I loved how the hotel and the rooms have kept the old charm without missing any modern conveniences (large fan, coffe & tea making facilities, mini-bar, safe, very nice bathroom, etc.). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beautiful old lift is an experience, and the bar in a historical style with the very professional service is excellent, but the drinks have their price, though.

El hotel se encuentra convenientemente ubicado. Es posible ir a pie a todos los puntos de interés que hay en la ciudad. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, al igual que los baños. Al menos el mío, tenía ducha y bañera, además de bidet y WC separados. Me gustó también que las ventanas fueran herméticas y que tuvieran un buen roller con black out. La atención por parte del staff fue muy amable en todo momento, tanto en la recepción, como en el restaurante, así como en la limpieza diaria de la habitación. El servicio de limpieza fue impecable, dejando la estancia sumamente limpia y acogedora cada día (incluso me dejaron manzanas algunos días, lo cual considero un bonito gesto). Ofrecen zapatillas de levantarse, y plancha bajo pedido. El hotel, aunque es antiguo, conserva una estética agradable y acogedora. Hay dos elevadores, uno retro y el otro un poco más moderno.
Con mi reserva, había hecho el pago también del buffet de desayunos, que estuvo bastante bien en general. Sin embargo, cada día fue exactamente igual, y al estar alojada 5 noches, no obtuve variedad. Sugiero que puedan tener diferentes alimentos cada día, para que así podamos disfrutar de opciones diversas.

Would be nice to have AC! But that doesn't seem to exist in Europe...
Wonderful location and staff were lovely and accommodating. We stayed for two nights and were upgraded to the 6th floor.
