This place is an old world gem and a wonderful place to begin and end our vacation in Europe. 
Pros:

Beautiful old world charm in a great location. Lovely civilized breakfast with classical music to go along with the delicious pastries. The linens were particularly comfortable. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We highly recommend the elegant and intimate hotel bar for a classy nightcap.

Teleurstellend, mede door de blijvende kermis voor de deur rondom een oorlogsmonument.
Pros:

In tegenstelling tot een eerder verblijf was de kamer en bed kleiner. Geen airco en raam kon niet open gedaan worden vanwege straatlawaai.

Cons:

Meer klantvriendelijkheid. Ofschoon alles was betaald werd er maar liefst € 250, -- borgsom van Amex afgeschreven voor een nachtje verblijf. Dat zou later gerestitueerd worden. Bizar.

Pros:

Excellent service always called by my name and knew which key number to give me without asking ,very polite and helpful.

Cons:

Rooms a little old fashioned but they had a charm which I liked and you can't get in a modern hotel.
