It's a good location, In-N-Out is within walking distance, along with gas stations, and other amenities.
Breakfast was enjoyable and flavorful. The available items are decent, but there's room for improvement. Adding orange juice and more breakfast options would enhance the meal.
I would never stay at this hotel again. If you are going to book here, please make sure to read this review before you do because you will regret it! Especially if you have kids. The hotel room smelled like mildew and urine due to the carpet. Unbearable! We requested a new room and once we arrived to the new room, they sprayed an entire can of air freshener right before we walked in to offset the smell of the carpets. After the air freshener smell dissipated, the second room smelled worse than the first!
There are 15-20 cable channels with a guide that you cannot control. It's on channel 2 and you have to sit there and wait for it to go through the list of channels, most of which are unavailable. You cannot scroll up or down. I have never seen cable so bad at a hotel chain before.
You book at Comfort Inn in Ventura after reading this review, then you deserve what you get!
The breakfast selection was good. It would have been nice if yogurt was also available. Definitely enough selection of items for me to eat.
Maybe yogurt could be provided next time.
The staff was very helpful, it was clean and everything was in working condition
Just the price
It was clean & accessible to various locations needed to go to.
Well we were trying to stay another night and they would not let us stay in the same room, we would have to move, and we had too much stuff to move and we were working on this trip and didn’t have time to do that.
Loved the breakfast staff. Lady was super nice and accommodating.

Breakfast offered a well prepared small omelet folded over a piece of cheese. Very good selection overall, helpful cafeteria person available, rounding out a very pleasant, relaxed meal.
Blackout curtain was a plus.
Breakfast and location excellent.
We stayed two nights in a single King bed on the third floor. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had good a/c, a microwave, a refrigerator, flat screen TV, etc. The bed was soft with lots of pillows and clean linens. There was a large desk, a comfortable chair and lots of lighting if you like to read in bed.
The bathroom was spotless, with a large mirror and countertop. It had excellent lighting and great water pressure in both the shower/tub and toilet.
The breakfast room was small and breakfast choices somewhat limited but eggs, bacon & sausage were available as were two types of cereal, a waffle machine, fruit and delicious muffins. Parking is somewhat limited but there’s easy access to the 101 Freeway. Freeway noise was not a problem for us. The hotel has an icemaker and guest laundry on the first floor. There is an In-n-Out restaurant next door. All in all, it was fine and we’d stay there again.
Hadn’t been since beautiful renovation. Place is fresh and welcoming. Staff was so kind and helpful. Though we only stayed one night it was great.
Nothing
The property was nice and clean.
Mistakes happen but I was lil shook to wake up to a flooded bathroom and a wet carpet, both sprinklers were leaking water .🥲Overall, besides the leak it was a nice stay.
There aren't many parking spaces either. The room is clean, the WiFi is good, and the breakfast is also decent.
The parking spot is hard to find, especially the entrance area which is not easy to turn around and enter. There might be a need to violate traffic rules to enter or take a detour to the other side.
Hotel is located next door to In-N-Out, which is nice; however, it is also literally feet from the freeway, so it can be kind of loud. Additionally, the WiFi was in and out so bad, it was almost entirely unusable; in fact, I used my phone’s hotspot more than anything. Even short YouTube videos would stop playing for 10+ minutes at a time. The building is older, but has had some updates, so it’s not too bad. Hot food items at breakfast are somewhat lacking, as they typically only have [small amounts of] scrambled eggs, sausage (sometimes patties, sometimes links), and bacon, as well as a waffle maker, which is typically self-serve, but this location has their food area attendant making the waffles for you, among other things, which makes you feel obligated to leave them a tip, which I’m certain is intended. The parking area is pretty small for the size of hotel, so often nearly every single space was taken when I returned to the hotel at the end if the day. This was made worse by the fact that they had contractors there doing work, who all parked near the entrance, some of whom backed their large trucks in right in front of the entrance doors, forcing one to walk around the truck bed hanging halfway over the sidewalk; this made me actually fairly mad that contractors were allowed to take the good parking spots from customers.
Our stay started well with a welcoming call from the staff, and we initially liked the hotel. However, room 303 had a constant clicking sound inside the wall that lasted all day and night, making it impossible to sleep. When we asked to check out early and get a refund for our second night (booked via Choice Privileges points), we were rejected. We decided to leave anyway. This felt very unfair, and I won't be staying with Choice Hotels again.
I liked that the property was clean .
I also like the staff . There was a kind lady at the breakfast area making sure we were well taking care of.
N/A
The staff made the stay. They were kind and always welcoming!
It’s right at a busy intersection that can be a bit treacherous to cross.
Though the In and Out burger establishment is convenient right next door it did make for constant stream of cars.
