I checked out 3 hours later
Pros:

Room 206 smelled so bad. It had the strongest smell of treated water. Imagine walking into a room that smelled like pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland.

Cons:

It smelled so bad, it was making me dry heave.

It was horrible and because it was the first time we had used Booking.com, not a good example.
Pros:

We liked the shower head. I can honestly say that is the only thing good about the stay.

Cons:

The television did not work and we asked for another one. They just said sorry. We asked for a discount and was told that we should reach out to the manager the following morning, which we did, but was told that she was not working that day. The room was old and did not feel comfortable because of the condition. We had to ask for washcloths because they were missing as well. The only entrance/exit to the property was continually blocked because of the traffic.

Very Unsatisfied Customer!
Pros:

That the stay included a continental breakfast and the location was close to downtown Ventura.

Cons:

The room was musty, carpets were damp, and there was too much humidity in the room. I got a sore throat, runny nose and bad headache. They moved me to another room, but nothing changed. I was staying there for 10 days and on the 4th day a loud noise came from the AC at 4:00 am and woke me up. I have asthma and bad allergies and it affected my breathing and my health. My inhaler and nasal rinse didn't help either. When addressing my concerns to the front desk and the general manager they stated that all the hotels close by would have the same problem due to the weather outside. It was only in the high 80's. That would not affect the inside of the building if the AC was working properly. After doing my research this hotel had problems with their AC since June 2026 and was working on fixing the problem. That they also had a problem on top of the roof. They've had many complaints with reviews on TripAdvisor and even a man staying there told me that a couple checking out complained about the stuffiness and mustiness in their room. He stated upon checking in his room the windows were wide open. I'm assuming that they were airing out his room because of the same problem. I checked out 3 days early because I was feeling so sick and couldn't sleep. Also, the location is close to the freeway and not very quiet. Across the street was a Motel 6 that was extremely shady. Definitely not safe to even walk past it. When I went to the Inn & Out Burger behind the Comfort Inn and Suites there was a bum eating out of the trash can and none of the employees told him to leave the property. I had to wait an hour before I felt it was safe to leave. I definitely would NOT stay at this location again.

I don’t recomend it, I won’t stay there.
Pros:

Personal was very friendly and nice, always trying to help.

Cons:

The rooms don’t look like in the pictures, the AC is very old and has a bad smell, the shower barely has pressure, the room has a weird smell.

Was ok for a quick stay within easy driving of LAX but I wish we’d better researched where it was
Pros:

Was clean and the staff were friendly.

Cons:

It was literally on the 101 and surrounded by fast food places. Not particularly quiet at night with the noise of traffic and loud cars racing past.

I can’t wait to come back again!
Pros:

Perfect place to stay in Ventura. Close to the beach. My favorite part was the breakfast, Lucia was so kind and attentive in the breakfast room and she made our waffles for us. She stood out to me the most. Everyone was also great!
